AEEE 2026 Phase 2 Registration Extended

AEEE 2026 Phase 2 registration has been extended to 18 April 2026 on the official website aeee.amrita.edu. Earlier, the last date was 15 April 2026.

The AEEE registration form is available through online mode. Candidates who want to apply through JEE Main scores should submit the application form before the second week of June 2026.

• Candidates who have scored a minimum of 60% marks aggregate are eligible to register for the AEEE 2026 Application Form.
• As part of the application process, candidates are required to pay INR 1200 as application fees for AEEE 2026.
• Candidates applying for admissions through JEE Mains are required to pay INR 450.

AEEE 2024 Exam Pattern

The AEEE 2024 exam pattern is set by the conducting body. It will have 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The difficulty level will be of 11th and 12th standard.

The exam will be conducted in two modes: Computer Based Test (CBT) and IBT (Proctored Internet Based Test). Candidates can select the mode while filling in the AEEE 2024 Application Form.

AEEE 2026 Result: Good Score

Based on the normalisation trends for AEEE 2026, here is the expected branch-wise breakdown of what is considered a "Good Score."

• Computer Science (CSE): You should aim for a 99.0th percentile to secure admission in the best college and also to grab the best scholarship.
• CSE in AI or Cyber Security: These popular tech branches require at least a 95.0th percentile for a seat in any college under the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
• Electronics & Communication (ECE): A percentile between 91.0 and 93.0 is generally safe for admission, but aim for 96.0 percentile to qualify for the highest scholarship.
• Electrical & Electronics (EEE): This branch is available for students if they secure a percentile anywhere between 85.0 and 92.0.
• Mechanical Engineering: Any candidate who can successfully secure a seat with a 70.0 – 85.0 score will pay the lowest possible tuition fees.

AEEE 2026 Counselling and Seat Allotment Process

The AEEE 2026 counselling process is officially called the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). It is conducted entirely online by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to allot B.Tech seats across its campuses.

CSAP registration and option entry are done through the official Amrita Online Admission Portal (AOAP). Candidates select college campuses and course preferences during this process.

• Registration: Log in to the Amrita Online Admission Portal using your registered email or mobile number. You must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of ₹5,000 to participate.
• Academic Preferences: You can list up to 42 combinations of campuses (such as Coimbatore, Bengaluru) and branches (such as CSE, ECE) in your order of priority.
• Trial Allotment: Amrita releases a "Trial Allotment" before the actual rounds. This is not a final seat but shows what you might get based on your current preferences, allowing you to rearrange your list if needed.
• Seat Allotment Rounds: There are typically three rounds of allotment. If you are offered a seat, it is based on your All India Rank (AIR) and your preference list.
• Acceptance and Partial Fee: If you accept the allotted seat, you must pay a Partial Tuition Fee of ₹1,00,000 by the specified deadline to secure it.
• Sliding Option: If you pay the partial fee but want to wait for a better branch or a lower fee "Slab" in the next round, you can opt for "Sliding." This keeps your current seat safe while trying for a higher preference.
• Final Confirmation: Once you are satisfied with your allotment, you "Confirm" the seat and pay the remaining balance of tuition fees to complete your admission.

70% of seats go to AEEE rank holders and 30% go to JEE Main score holders. You can upload both scores to increase your chances of getting a better branch.

AEEE 2026 Tie-Breaking Criteria

If two or more candidates get the same total score, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham uses specific rules to decide who gets the higher rank.

If the total normalised percentile is the same, the following criteria are applied in order of priority:

• Higher Score in Mathematics: The candidate with a higher percentile or score in the Mathematics section gets a higher rank.
• Higher Score in Physics: If the tie persists, the candidate with a higher percentile or score in Physics is ranked higher.
• Higher Score in Chemistry: If the tie remains, the Chemistry section score is compared.
• Date of Birth (Age): If all subject scores are equal, the older candidate (based on the date of birth in the application) is given preference and assigned the higher rank.

Amrita calculates your percentile score up to seven decimal places to minimise ties. This precision ranking ensures that even tiny differences in performance are reflected in the final All India Rank (AIR).

Since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, the university uses a normalisation process similar to JEE Main. This ensures that a tougher shift does not disadvantage a student compared to an easier shift.
