ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2026
The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) sets the eligibility criteria for the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA). Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification under the 10+2+3 scheme can apply. Final year students are also eligible, provided they score a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination.
- AIMS prescribes no reservation rules. Individual colleges may offer seats to reserved category candidates.
- There is no upper age limit and no work experience is mandated to appear for the exam.
- Only Indian Nationals can apply. There is no domicile restriction.
About ATMA 2026
ATMA is conducted four times a year by AIMS. The exam offers admission to PGDM, MBA, MCA, and PGCM courses. Scores are accepted by more than 700 B-schools across India.

ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2026: Basic Qualification
The following educational eligibility criteria must be satisfied by candidates applying online for ATMA 2026.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification level under the 10+2+3 scheme in any of the following streams:
- B.A.
- B.Sc.
- B.Com
- B.Tech from any University recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
- Final year students can also apply for the management exam.
- Colleges accepting ATMA Score admit students with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation or any equivalent degree.
- The percentage criterion may vary for various Management Institutes or Universities.
- Candidates in their final year of graduation can show their last semester scores.
ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2026: Program-wise
AIMS administers the test for selection to MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCA (subject to local Regulations), and other postgraduate management courses. About 200 high-ranking institutions accept ATMA Scores. Program-wise eligibility is given below.
ATMA Eligibility: MBA Program
- Nationality: Only citizens of India can apply for the exam.
- Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying to ATMA 2026.

ATMA Eligibility: PGDM Program
- Nationality: All candidates belonging to Indian nationality can apply for ATMA.
- Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying to ATMA.
ATMA Eligibility: MCA Program
Eligibility for the MCA program is subject to local regulations of the respective institutions.
ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2026
ATMA eligibility depends on the course and the institute. For MCA admission, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in BCA.
- Qualification: Minimum 50% marks in BCA for MCA admission. Candidates in the final year of BCA can also apply.
- Age Criteria: The minimum age limit is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction.
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply for the ATMA Exam.
- No. of Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts.

Participating institutes set their own eligibility standards. Candidates must check the specific requirements of the institute they wish to apply to.

ATMA Reservation Criteria 2026
ATMA follows no reservation rules defined by AIMS. However, fee concessions are available for certain categories.
- No reservation rules defined by AIMS.
- 25% concession in fees for women.
- 50% concession in fees for candidates from North Eastern States of India.
- No concession in fees for SC/ST or OBC category students.
- Participating institutes may have their own reservation standards. Candidates need to mention their category in the ATMA Application Form.
- No subsequent application to claim reserved seats will be entertained later.

ATMA Application Form 2026
ATMA registration is done online only. Candidates can register at atmaims.com.
- Visit the official website and click on "Click here to register for ATMA".
- Enter full name, correct email ID, mobile number and date of birth in the Online Fee Payment form to register.
- Pay the requisite application fee.
- After successful registration, the PID (Personal Identification Number) will be sent to the registered email ID.
- Login using the PID and fill the ATMA Application Form.
- Pay INR 1298 (INR 1100 + 18% GST) as the registration fee.
- The fee can be paid online via debit/credit card. The registration fee is not refundable or transferable to other tests.
While filling the ATMA Application Form, candidates must choose any 5 institutes on the basis of ATMA Scores. AIMS will send these scores to the respective colleges. More than 700 colleges accept ATMA scores. These colleges carry out their own eligibility and selection processes.
