AU AIMEE Pharmacy Result 2024
The AU AIMEE Pharmacy result is expected to be released within July 2024. The result will be released using a normalization method.
In this method, the highest score in each subject from various boards will be equated with the highest relative score in each subject in the examination conducted by the State Board of Tamil Nadu.

AU AIMEE Pharmacy Counselling 2024
AU AIMEE Pharmacy counselling 2024 will be conducted just after the release of the results. A call letter will be sent to the selected candidates in the form of an SMS.
The counselling fee for different categories is given below:

Reservation Criteria for AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2024
AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2024 selects candidates under seven categories for B. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy (Lateral Entry), D. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy, and Doctor of Pharmacy. These seven categories are OC, BC, BC (Muslim), MBC/DNC, SC, SCA, and ST.
Reservations for these categories are made as per the rules and norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

In the reservation process for Persons with Orthopedically Physical Disabilities, first, candidates with disability of lower limbs between 50%-70% will be considered. If the seats remain vacant after the selection of such candidates, candidates with disability of lower limbs between 40%-50% will be selected.
Candidates must produce a certificate issued by the District Medical Board confirming the same. The certificate must be obtained by the candidate 3 months prior to submitting the AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2024 Application Form.
Note: Candidates with disability other than locomotory disability of lower limb will not be considered under the special reservation category of Persons with Orthopedically Physical Disabilities.
Normalization of Marks in AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2024 Exam
Normalization of marks in AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2024 for courses like B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the relevant subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by various boards and authorities.
Marks Normalization for AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2024
Marks obtained in the qualifying examination conducted by various boards will be equated with the qualifying examination conducted by the State Board of Tamil Nadu.
The normalization method for B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy courses in AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2024 is detailed below:
- A candidate's highest score in each subject from various boards will be equated with the highest relative score in each subject in the State Board of Tamil Nadu examination.
- The relative marks obtained by candidates will be determined accordingly.
- After normalization of marks in relevant subjects, candidates from different boards will be merged into a common merit list.
- For candidates who qualified from national boards such as CBSE or ICSE, only the highest score obtained at the national level will be considered.
Ranking System for B. Pharmacy
Ranking for B. Pharmacy admission will be based on merit from marks obtained in science subjects in the qualifying examination, reduced to a base of 200 marks.
Marks from different boards will be considered after normalization. The ranking will be done on total marks in science subjects after normalization, computed to a maximum of 200.
The following rules apply to B. Pharmacy ranking:
- Only marks obtained in science subjects in the HSC qualifying examination as a whole in the first appearance will be considered for seat allotment.
- Improvement marks in 10+2 examinations of any year will not be considered.
- Marks obtained through part-by-part appearance in the 10+2 examination will not be considered, including for natives of Tamil Nadu who passed equivalent examinations from other boards or states.
- If claiming improvement marks for selection to Para Medical Courses is detected at any time, the selection will be cancelled and the candidate's name will be removed from the rank list.
- Any application submitted without the latest self-attested photocopy of the first appearance mark sheet of the qualifying examination will be summarily rejected.
Ranking System for D. Pharmacy
Candidates seeking admission in D. Pharmacy should note the following ranking system for AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2024:
- Candidates who passed from boards other than national boards must request their boards to furnish maximum marks scored in relevant subjects.
- If the marks are not made available before the ranking system, the maximum marks will be considered as 100%.
- A candidate's normalized marks will be considered for minimum eligibility.
- The merit list will be prepared based on total marks out of 200.
Inter se Merit for B. Pharmacy
When candidates score the same marks, inter se merit will be determined in the following priority order:
- Percentage in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together in the +2 examination.
- Percentage in Chemistry in the +2 examination.
- Percentage in the fourth optional subject in the +2 examination.
- Date of Birth – weightage will be given to seniority in age.

Inter se Merit for D. Pharmacy
If more than one candidate gets the same marks, inter se merit will be determined in the priority order below:
- Percentage of marks in Mathematics
- Percentage of marks in Physics
- Percentage of marks in the fourth optional subject
- Date of birth (the elder candidate will be given preference)
- Random number assigned (the higher number will be preferred)

Counselling and Seat Allocation Process
Counselling for AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2024 will begin after the declaration of the merit list on the official website.
Candidates will be called for the counselling session at Annamalai University.
Counselling and Seat Allocation
Selection of candidates follows the rules of the Government of Tamil Nadu under the 69% reservation rule. Special reservation is available for differently abled candidates, with 3% of the total seats reserved for them.
Counselling for differently abled candidates is held first. The counselling fee is non-refundable and must be paid by demand draft (DD) in favour of "The Registrar, Annamalai University".

During the counselling session, the choice of option made by the candidate remains unchangeable. Candidates must attend the counselling session on the scheduled date.
If a candidate cannot attend, a parent may seek permission from the authority to attend on the candidate's behalf. If the candidate or parent attends late on the scheduled date, a seat may be offered if available in the respective category, but original seniority in the merit list will not be claimed.
Waiting List and Admission
After seat allotment, a candidate who paid the counselling fee but did not get admission is placed in the waiting list. If seats remain vacant, the candidate can join in later stages after fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
For special reservation category candidates, any misinterpretation of facts or breach of eligibility criteria may lead to cancellation of admission. For any changes or modifications, candidates must contact the authorities by visiting the official website.
