CET Delhi 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for CET Delhi 2026 have been set by the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). Registration for CET Delhi 2026 is expected to begin on May 03, 2026.

To apply for CET Delhi 2026, a candidate must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks in pure science streams. Candidates who have passed Class 10 can also apply for the CET Delhi 2026 entrance examination.

For Lateral Entry to Full-time Diploma Programs through CET 2026, a candidate must have passed Class 10 plus ITI (2 years) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Alternatively, a candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Mathematics or a Technical Vocational subject.

CET Delhi 2026 is a state-level entrance examination conducted by DSEU. The exam provides admission to certification and diploma programs in Engineering & Technology, non-Engineering, Pharmacy, and diploma courses in polytechnic at over 19 Delhi Polytechnic institutes.

Diploma in Pharmacy Eligibility

Candidates who have not studied Biology in Class 12 can still apply for Diploma in Pharmacy. The eligibility criteria for Diploma in Pharmacy through CET Delhi 2026 is passing Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.

CET Delhi Test-wise Eligibility Conditions

CET Delhi is conducted at the state level. Candidates must select one of the five tests while applying online. The conditions are set by the Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi. If a candidate fails to meet the criteria, the application is liable to be rejected.

CET Delhi Test - 1

  • Candidates should have English, Science, and Mathematics in Class X or equivalent examination as compulsory subjects.

CET Delhi Test - 2

This test is for candidates applying for Modern Office Practice (English) or One-year Certificate courses (Hospitality operations, Retail Services, and Finance Executive) in WCSC.

  • Candidates should have English as a compulsory subject in Class XII or equivalent examination.
  • Candidates should have passed Class XII of CBSE or any other recognized examination equivalent to Class XII in any stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate of the best three subjects including English.
  • Candidates should have passed English individually.
  • Candidates must be a minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 24 years of age.

CET Delhi Test - 3

This test is for candidates applying for Modern Office Practice (Hindi).

  • Candidates should have Hindi or Sanskrit as a compulsory subject in Class XII or equivalent examination.
  • Candidates should have passed Class XII of CBSE or any other recognized examination equivalent to Class XII in any stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate of the best three subjects including Hindi or Sanskrit.
  • Candidates should have passed Hindi or Sanskrit individually.
  • Candidates must be a minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 24 years of age.

CET Delhi Test - 4

This test is for candidates applying for Pharmacy.

  • Candidates should have English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects in Class XII.
  • Candidates should have passed Class XII of CBSE, Delhi in Science stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology.
  • Candidates should have passing marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology individually.
  • Candidates must be a minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 24 years of age.

Eligibility for Certificate Course in Software Testing Assistant

For admission to the 1-year Certificate Course in Software Testing Assistant at WCSC, candidates must meet the following CET Delhi eligibility criteria.

  • Must have English, Physics, Mathematics, and either Chemistry or Biology as compulsory subjects in Class XII or an equivalent examination.
  • Must have passed Class XII from CBSE, Delhi, or any other recognized board equivalent to Class XII in the Science stream.
  • Must have a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and either Chemistry or Biology.
  • Must have passing marks individually in English, Physics, Mathematics, and either Chemistry or Biology.
  • Age must be a minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 24 years.

Eligibility for Lateral Entry into Diploma Courses

CET Delhi eligibility for lateral entry into the 3rd semester of analogous Diploma courses is for ITI or 10+2 (Vocational Stream) pass outs.

Option 1: 12th Vocational Stream

  • Must have passed the Analogous 12th Vocational (Engineering) stream of CBSE or an equivalent school located in Delhi only.
  • Must have a minimum of 60% aggregate in the best five subjects mentioned in the mark sheet.

Option 2: ITI Pass Outs

  • Must have passed Class X of CBSE or equivalent, plus 2 years of ITI (Engineering) from ITIs/ITCs.
  • The ITIs/ITCs must be located only in Delhi and affiliated to DGE&T/BTE, Delhi.
  • Must have a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all subjects mentioned in the mark sheet.
  • Age must be a minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 24 years.
