About DSAT 2024
Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore conducts the Dayananda Sagar Admission Test (DSAT) every year. The test is held for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the university.

DSAT 2024 Syllabus

DSAT 2024 Score Validity
Your DSAT 2024 scorecard will remain valid for the current academic year only. You will not be able to participate in counselling process for admission in 2025 academic year with your 2024 scorecard.
DSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
DSAT 2024 exam is conducted in both offline and online mode. The eligibility criteria for different programs are detailed below:
BTech
Passed in PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects. A minimum of 45% (for SC/ST 40%) marks aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and any of the Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science / Electronics and English as a compulsory subject.
BCA/BBA
Passed in PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category).
BCom
Completed two-year Pre-University course of Karnataka State or its equivalent with Business Studies and Accountancy as two major subjects of study in both first and second year pre-university. Aggregate of 50% PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/10+2 or Equivalent Examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category).
MBA
Having Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years duration recognized by this University or who have passed any other examination recognized by this University as equivalent thereto. The candidates shall have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) of all the years of the degree examinations.
DSAT 2024 Sectional Time Limit
There is no sectional time limit for completing DSAT 2024 examination. You can attempt any section of your choice, and you just have to complete the paper within 150 minutes time duration.
It is advised not to spend more than 1-2 minutes for a single question.
DSAT 2024 Exam Pattern

DSAT 2024 Important Instructions
According to the official website, the early DSAT 2024 exam will be held on January 27th and January 28th, 2024. Candidates must follow these instructions during the examination.
- A candidate will not be allowed to appear at the examination centre other than that allotted to him/her in the Admit Card.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre/hall after the commencement of examination.
- After the invigilator has verified DSAT 2024 Admit Card of the candidate, he must sign on the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator and mention the hall ticket number also.
- The candidate should follow the instructions given by the invigilators in the examination room.
- Candidates should not indulge in any argument with the invigilators or other staff involved in the examination duty at the examination center.
- The candidate should neither talk to each other nor discuss any matter during the examination.
- The candidate should not disturb other candidates in the examination room and maintain complete silence during the examination.
- Candidates are not permitted to carry any electronic device and study material at examination hall like (Mobile, Bluetooth, Pager, watch, test series, books, model papers, etc.)
- The decision of Dayananda Sagar University shall be final in all matters.

DSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for DSAT 2024 varies by program. The requirements for each program are listed below.
B.Tech Eligibility
Candidates must have passed PUC, CBSE, ISCE, 10+2, or an equivalent examination. Physics and Mathematics must be compulsory subjects.
A minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Electronics. English is a compulsory subject. The minimum is 40% for SC/ST candidates.
BCA/BBA Eligibility
