ICAR AIEEA 2024 Merit List
ICAR will release a single merit list of qualified candidates on the official website. If candidates get equal marks in the entrance examination, merit will be prepared based on marks obtained in major subjects — Mathematics, Biology, or Agriculture — in the UG entrance exam.
In case of a tie again, merit will be prepared based on the candidate's age. A candidate higher in age would be rated higher in merit. Category-wise rank lists will be prepared based on the reservation category information provided in the online application form.
ICAR AIEEA 2024 Normalisation Process
Candidates who appear for multi-shift papers will have their raw marks from different shifts converted into NTA Score. If the percentile score for multiple shifts is unequal, the lowest percentile will be the eligibility cut-off for that category for all candidates.
Example: In an examination held in two shifts, if 40% marks correspond to a percentile score of 77 in Shift 1 and 78 in Shift 2, then all candidates equal to or above 77 percentiles (percentile score of 100 to 77) in both shifts become eligible in the General Category. A similar method is adopted for other categories to determine eligibility cut-offs. The same principle applies if the examination is held in more shifts.
