ATIT 2024 Eligibility Criteria Overview

ATIT 2024 eligibility criteria has been released on the official website, ifheindia.org. To sit for the ATIT 2024 exam, a candidate must have passed Class 12th with 50% aggregate marks for BSc and 60% for BTech.

For admission via the Lateral Entry scheme, a candidate must have passed a two-year Diploma/Polytechnic after Class 12 or a three-year Diploma/Polytechnic after Class 10 in the relevant subjects. The required aggregate is 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Who Can Apply

Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying Diploma examination but whose results are awaited can also apply. They must submit the certificate in support of clearing the examination.

There is no age limit to sit for the ATIT 2024 exam. Candidates meeting the criteria can fill the ATIT 2024 application form by paying INR 500, which is non-refundable.

Campus Wise Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility requirements vary by campus. The table below lists the academic qualifications and other entrance test requirements for each campus.

Nationality Eligibility

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for ITSAT 2024. Indian candidates will be shortlisted based on the entrance exam and subsequent selection rounds.

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Indian candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the entrance exam and subsequent selection rounds.
  • Students who are not living in India by birth or Foreigner are not Eligible to apply for ITSAT 2024.

Educational Qualification Eligibility

Applicants should have completed 12 years of formal schooling to apply for the program. Admission will be offered based on scores secured in the ITSAT 2024 exam.

  • The subjects in which a candidate has to pass the qualifying exam are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
  • Applicants who have completed their higher secondary exam or 12th boards from a recognized board can appear for the examination.
  • Class XII (or its equivalent) students awaiting examination results may also apply.
  • Students must pass with 60% and above aggregate marks in Class XII with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects.
  • Students must have scored at least 60% aggregate marks in Class 10th.
  • The score of exams such as JEE Main 2024 and any other state level or national level engineering exam will also be considered for admission.
  • Candidates are advised to appear for ITSAT to enhance their chance of admission.

Course Wise Eligibility

ITSAT provides admission to various branches of the institution. The branches are Hyderabad, Dehradun, Tripura, Jaipur, Raipur, and Jharkhand.

Program specializations include Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Communication Engineering, depending on the candidate's score.

Candidates must fulfil the criteria listed below to be eligible to apply for B.Tech:

  • Students must pass with 60% and above aggregate marks in Class XII with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects.
  • Students must have scored at least 60% aggregate marks in Class 10th.
  • Students must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in Class 12th for BSc Computer Science, BSc Data Analytics, BSc Physics, BSc Mathematics, and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).

Candidates should have a score of 60% aggregate marks in the HSB exam for admission to the Hyderabad and Himachal Pradesh campus and 50% for the other campuses.
