Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test Application Process
MUCMET 2024 Application Form
The MUCMET 2024 application form will be released in the last week of May. The Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test (MUCMET) form is for admission to the five-year BMS-MBA Integrated Program at the Thane Sub Campus.
The application form will be available on the official website of the University of Mumbai. The form can be filled only in offline mode.
Offline submission involves four steps:
- Taking a print out of the application form
- Filling the application form and admit card
- Getting a Demand Draft (DD) made
- Submitting the documents
Application Fee
The application fee for MUCMET 2024 depends on the candidate's category.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria before filling the MUCMET 2024 application form. The criteria cover age, residential status, and academic qualification.
Age Criteria
- Candidates must be 20 years old or less as on the date of MUCMET 2024.
- Candidates from Persons with Disability (PwD), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Vimukta Jati (VJ), Denotified Tribes (DT), Nomadic Tribes (NT), or Special Backward Class (SBC) get a relaxation of 2 years. They can be 22 years old or less as on the examination date.
Residential Criteria
- Candidates qualified and domiciled in Maharashtra are eligible for 85% of the total number of seats, which is 60.
- 51 seats are reserved for candidates from Maharashtra.
Academic Qualification
- Candidates must have cleared 10+2, Higher Secondary School (HSS), Intermediate, or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
- Candidates must have secured at least 45% aggregate marks in any discipline or stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts).
- Students from SC, ST, OBC, VJ, DT, NT, SBC, or PwD categories must have secured a minimum aggregate of 40% marks.
MUCMET 2024 Registration Dates
Candidates can fill the MUCMET 2024 application form from May 2024. The last date to fill the form is the last week of June 2024.

How to Fill MUCMET 2024 Application Form
The MUCMET 2024 application form can be filled and submitted only through offline mode. Candidates must submit the duly filled form along with other documents to the conducting authority.
Step 1: Taking Print Out of Application Form
Candidates must take a print out of the application form from the official website. The form must be printed and filled carefully.
How to Apply for MUCMET 2024
The application process for MUCMET 2024 is completed offline. Candidates must download the form, fill it by hand, and submit it with the required documents and fee.
Step 1: Download the Application Form
- Visit the official website of University of Mumbai.
- Click on the 'Thane Sub Campus' tab at the top of the webpage.
- Click on the 'B.M.S. – M.B.A. (Integrated)' tab.
- Click on 'Important Instruction and Application form for MUCMET 2024-25'.
- The MUCMET 2024 Application form, Admit Card, and Instructions will download.
- Take a printout of the Application Form and Admit Card.
Step 2: Fill the Application Form
Candidates must fill the MUCMET 2024 Application Form and Admit Card with a black pen. All details must be written in Capital Letters.
Once submitted, no changes to the application form will be allowed. The form requires the following details:
- Name
- Mother's Full Name
- Address with State, City, and Pin Code
- Residential and Mobile Phone Numbers
- Email ID
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Educational Qualification
- Category
- Special Category
- Maharashtra Domicile
- DD Amount and other details
- Date
- Passport size photo to be pasted at the given place
- Signature of Candidate
The Admit Card requires the candidate's name, a passport size photograph (signed across the photograph), and the candidate's signature.
Step 3: Pay the Application Fee via Demand Draft
Each candidate must submit a Demand Draft (DD) along with the application form. No form will be accepted without the DD.
The DD can be obtained from any nationalized bank. It must be drawn in favour of 'Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai'.
The DD amount depends on the candidate's category:
- General (Open) category: INR 500
- SC, ST, OBC, VJ, DT, NT, SBC, or PwD category: INR 250
Details of the DD must be filled in the application form.
Step 4: Submit Documents
Candidates must submit photocopies of the following documents with the application form:
- Certificates of Age
- Certificate of Caste (for reserved category candidates)
- Mark sheet and certificate of 10th class examination
- Mark sheet and certificate of 10+2/HHS/Intermediate or equivalent examination
- Certificate for Physically Handicap
- Domicile Certificate
These documents, along with 2 passport size photographs, the DD, the Application Form, and the Admit Card, must be submitted to:
University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus, Behind Runwal Garden City, Ram Maruti Nagar, Balkum, Thane (West)-400608
Forms must be submitted on or before the last day of submission. The admit card will be returned later with the Seat No. and the University stamp. No candidate can enter the examination hall without a valid admit card. Candidates should keep a copy of the filled application form for future reference.
