NERIST NEE 2024 Exam Pattern
NERIST NEE 2024 is conducted in offline mode using an OMR sheet. The exam pattern and marking scheme differ for each level of the NERIST NEE exam.
For NEE-I, the question paper has three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, for a total of 150 marks. The pattern for NEE-II and NEE-III depends on the candidate's academic qualifications.

Question Paper Pattern
The exam pattern for NERIST Entrance Exam 2024 is decided by the institute and can change from year to year. The pattern varies according to the level of the exam and the course opted for.
All three NERIST NEE exams have a negative marking of 1/4th of the total marks. The question paper is in English medium only.
As per rules, the OMR sheet must be filled with a black ballpoint pen only. Stray markings or marking more than one answer are not allowed.

Marking Scheme
NERIST Entrance Exam 2024 contains questions with either 1 mark or 2 marks weightage. Negative marking is applicable in the test.
The syllabus for NERIST NEE 2024 is divided into three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. Candidates can also appear with a Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Vocational subject combination if vocational studies were part of their qualifying examination.

NERIST NEE 2024 Marking Scheme
In the NERIST Entrance Exam 2024, each question carries either 1 mark or 2 marks. The weightage of each question is clearly stated in the question paper.
For every incorrect answer, marks equal to 1/4th of the value of that question are deducted. There is no deduction for questions not attempted.
For Questions Having Weightage of 1 Mark
- For every correct answer, 1 mark is added to the total score.
- For every incorrect response, 0.25 or 1/4th marks are deducted from the total score.
- No marks are deducted for not attempting a question.
For Questions Having Weightage of 2 Marks
- For every correct answer, 2 marks are added to the total score.
- For an incorrect response, 0.5 or 1/4th marks are deducted from the final score.
- No marks are deducted for not attempting a question.

NERIST Entrance Exam 2024 Instructions for Filling OMR
Candidates appearing in the NERIST Entrance Exam 2024 must check these instructions before attempting the paper on the OMR sheet.
- Candidates need to carry their own stationery on the day of the exam.
- Match all particulars, including question paper and OMR sheet number, before answering any questions.
- Calculators and log tables are not allowed in NEE I. They can be carried for NEE II and III.
- Mobile phones and other communication devices are not allowed inside the exam hall.
