RUET 2024 eligibility is based on academic qualification and minimum secured marks in the qualifying exam.

Academic Qualification:

RUET 2024 Application Form

RUET 2024 Application Form will be available from the second week of March 2024. The form can be obtained through both online and offline modes.

The applicant can buy the application form from any campus of Rama University or apply online through the official website of Rama University. The prescribed fee for RUET 2024 application form is INR 1000.

RUET Registration and Exam Details

RUET Registration process will start soon on the official website – ramauniversity.ac.in. The prescribed fee for RUET 2024 application form is expected to be INR 1000 for all candidates.

The exam consists of 120 objective type multiple choice questions of equal weightage. RUET (Rama University Entrance Test) is a national aptitude test for aspirants of Graduate, Postgraduate, and Research courses offered by Rama University.

RUET 2024 is expected to be conducted from the second week of June 2024 for UG courses, the third week of June for PG courses, and late July 2024 for PhD courses in offline mode. Duration of the exam for UG and PG test will be 2 hours and 3 hours for PhD Programmes.

The test paper consists of 3 sections and each section has different weightage and a different number of questions.

RUET 2024 Application Process

The application form for RUET 2024 can be submitted online or offline. The offline process requires sending the form to The Entrance Cell, Rama University, Rama Medical College Campus, Rama City, Mandhana, Kanpur (U.P.) 209 217.

Offline Payment and Form Rules

• Payment can be made by depositing the amount in the University's bank account or through a DD in the name of Rama University.
• If paying by DD, the DD should be in the name of "Rama University, payable at Delhi / Kanpur".
• Do not staple photographs on the application form and admit card.
• Leave the space for roll number blank.

How to Get the Admit Card

Admit cards are distributed based on the mode of application. Offline applicants will receive the card by post, while online applicants can download it from the website.

Prep Tips for RUET 2024

Candidates are advised to follow the below-mentioned prep tips for the Rama University Entrance Exam.

• Create a Time Table: The first step is to create a time schedule and time table. Decide how many subjects and topics you can cover in an hour, day and week. A time table helps you stick to a set plan. Through a time table, you can cover the topics, have time to revise and also have time to rest. A planned schedule will keep you on track. Being lethargic will only make matters worse.
• Solve Previous Years' Question Papers: The best way to know what will come in the entrance exam is by solving previous years' question papers. You will understand the type of questions asked, the sections, the weightage of marks and how the questions are framed. Test yourself by solving the question paper according to the time set.

RUET 2024 Counselling Process

Can I make changes to the form after submission?

Changes can be made until the fees are paid. Once fees are remitted, the details are locked and no further changes are allowed.

Can the application be cancelled for a refund after paying fees?

No. The application fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. The organizing body will not refund fees under any situation.

Can I submit multiple forms and adjust the fee?

No. Multiple forms cannot be submitted under any circumstance. Once registered, the same email ID cannot be used for another registration.

RUET 2024 Exam Day Instructions

These are the official instructions for candidates appearing in the Rama University Entrance Test (RUET). Follow them carefully during the examination.

Answer Sheet and Marking

The exam uses an OMR answer sheet. You must fill in your details and darken the circles on this sheet.

• Open the sealed answer sheet only when the invigilator instructs you to do so.
• Fill in the required particulars on the OMR sheet first, reading all instructions carefully.
• Use only a Blue or Black Ball Pen in the RUET exam.
• Darken the circles properly. Light or faint marks may be rejected by the Optical Scanner.
• Do not make any other marks or write rough calculations on the OMR sheet. This may lead to rejection.
• Do not fold the OMR answer sheet. Keep it in the same shape as given.

Question Paper Details

The question paper is objective type. Each question may have more than one correct answer.

• The question paper has 120 questions in sequence.
• There are 4 options for each question.
• There may be 1 or more correct responses for each question.
• All questions have equal weightage.
• The duration of RUET is 2 hours.

Exam Conduct and Identity

The exam starts exactly at the specified time. The invigilator will announce the start.

• The invigilator will verify your identity at the time of the exam.
• The invigilator will sign on the answer sheet after being satisfied with your identity.
• Produce your admit card and identity proof on demand at any time during the exam.
• You must sign on the Attendance Sheet as well as on the OMR answer sheet.
• You must make a left hand thumb impression at the appropriate place in the Attendance Sheet.
• Bring your own stationary. The university or examination center will not supply it.

Test Booklet Verification

Check your Test Booklet and OMR sheet for any discrepancy. Report any issue to the invigilator.

• Verify that the Test-booklet contains 120 questions in sequence.
• Match the serial number and series of the Test Booklet with the OMR answer sheet.
• If there is any discrepancy, inform the invigilator. A new set of the similar series will be provided.

Carbon Copy

The answer sheet has an attached carbon copy. Mark carefully so the impression appears correctly on it.

• The carbon copy is for you to keep.
• Take the carbon copy with the question booklet home after the RUET exam for reference.

Rules and Regulations

All candidates must follow the rules of Rama University in the Examination Hall. Breaching the rules will be treated as offensive conduct.

RUET 2024 Exam Day Rules

Entry and Timing

Candidates can enter the RUET 2024 examination hall 30 minutes before the exam starts. They must take their seats on time as per the sitting arrangement instructions.

No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam center after 30 minutes from the start of the examination, under any circumstances. A delayed applicant may be disallowed from entering and taking the exam.

Admit Card Requirement

A valid Admit Card for RUET 2024 must be produced as per the invigilator's instructions and on demand of the exam center authorities. Without the admit card, an applicant will not be permitted to take the exam.

Allowed Items

Applicants may bring a cardboard or clip board to support the answer sheet. The competent authority of the RUET Exam may check the board to ensure nothing is written on it.

If anything suspicious is found, the applicant may face unfavourable situations. Only water can be taken inside, as per instructions, so that no one else is disturbed.

Restricted Items

The following items are not permitted inside the examination hall:

• Mobile phones
• Electronic gadgets
• Musical audio video devices
• Blank or written paper
• Calculator
• Textual material, books, documents
• Slide rules, log tables
• Electronic watches
• Bits of paper

Items other than the RUET 2024 Admit Card and the applicant's identity proof are not allowed. If an applicant is found with any restricted item, he will be treated as per the rules for using unfair means.

The guilty applicant may be suspended from the RUET exam. The case may be handed over to police administration, and the applicant may also be debarred from the competition exam permanently.

Seating Arrangement

Every seat in all rooms of the exam center indicates the roll numbers of applicants. The sitting arrangement planning list is pasted at the entrance of the exam center and outside every room.

This helps applicants find their sitting place easily. In case of confusion, the applicant may confirm the seat with staff and the invigilator at the exam center. Taking any other seat may create problems, as this is a serious issue.

Test Booklet and Answer Sheet

A sealed Test Booklet with an Answer Sheet will be provided to the applicant about ten minutes before the start of the RUET 2024 exam. The booklet should not be opened before the invigilator's permission.

The candidate should write the required information on the cover page of the booklet as mentioned in the instructions on the Test Booklet.

Conduct Inside the Hall

Leaving the examination hall without the permission of the invigilator at any time is considered misconduct. The candidature of the applicant may be rejected for this.

Applicants are advised not to carry valuable or precious belongings or cash. These will not be permitted in the examination hall, and no one else will be responsible for their security.

Drinking tea, coffee, cold drinks, and eating snacks is not allowed during the RUET 2024 exam. Smoking and eating are not allowed in the examination hall in any case.
