Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test Syllabus 2026

The UPCATET 2026 syllabus is based on the NCERT and UP Board Class 12 curriculum. It varies by paper group, so you should study according to the group you selected during registration.

• PCM Group (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics): For B.Tech Agricultural Engineering and B.Tech Food Technology. Physics and Chemistry topics are the same as the PCB group. Mathematics covers Relations and Functions, Matrices and Determinants, Integrals, Differential Equations, Vectors, Three Dimensional Geometry, Linear Programming and Probability.
• PCB Group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology): For BSc Agriculture, BSc Horticulture, BSc Forestry, and BVSc and Animal Husbandry. Physics includes Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, and Thermodynamics. Chemistry and Biology follow the full Class 12 syllabus.
• PAG Group (Agriculture): For BSc Agriculture (Agriculture stream students). Covers Soil and Soil Fertility, Crop Production Techniques, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Horticulture, Agricultural Economics, Farm Machinery, Animal Husbandry, Plant Breeding and Genetics, and Post-Harvest Technology.
• PHS Group (Home Science): For BSc Home Science and BSc Food and Nutrition. Covers Home Management, Nutrition and Dietetics, Human Development, Textile and Clothing, and Extension Education.
