Government Dental College & Hospital, A Government Dental College, is situated in Paithna-Bhaganbigha, Rahui, Nalanda. 10-12 KM away from Biharsharif Town. Capital Patna difference is around 80 KM. we have the best environment.

GDCH is spreading at a sprawling area of 20 Acres of land. The first academic session of the college started in 2023-24 with the admission of 100 students in 1st year BDS course, the existing capacity is 100 students per year.

The College has Girl’s Hostel, Boys’ Hostel, Doctors’ Hostel, Intern Hostel, Nurses Hostel all G + 5 types, a community block, a Student recreation center, a modern air-conditioned Auditorium apart from Faculty and Non-teaching staff accommodation with lift facilities. The whole College building is centrally Air conditioned having a canteen with greenery all around the campus.

Presently the teachings of all three pre-clinical departments are going on. All the lecture theatres and Medical Education Units are provided with Audio-visual Aids, rendering the teaching effective and easily understandable. The present faculty with extensive teaching experience takes a keen interest in teaching the basics of the Dental curriculum and interacting with the students to hone their skills and make them competent medical graduates, to serve the society & nation at large.

Students and teachers interact with each other freely; and participate in different extracurricular activities like sports, games, and group discussions on various topics. We try to inculcate in their moral character and human values.

The hospital building is under construction with a capacity of 500 beds for various clinical and super-specialized departments. It has an outpatient department, I.C.U, I.C.C.U, an Operation Theatre complex having 10 major OTs, a Maternity complex, a Radiology department having X-ray, Ultrasound, C.T. Scan, Blood Bank, and Central Laboratory with all modern gadgets and latest facilities.
