Chancellor Dr. Rajan Welukar presents 'Best College Award' to H.R. College of Commerce & Economics received by Vice - Principals Dr. Rekha Bahadur and Prof. Parag Thakkar.

H.R. College was awarded the Best College by the University of Mumbai for 2010-2011. The institution was recognized for its leadership potential, its teaching excellence, its innovative learner-centric approach and its strong international linkages.

The H.R. College team received the HEF's Innovation Award under the Graduate College Category

The H.R. College team received the award under the Graduate College category on 5th March, 2016 at the Higher Education Forum (HEF) 7th Annual Convention held at Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies, Malad.

To identify colleges which have attained high standards in teaching, research and extension activities and hold promise of excellence, University Grants Commission (UGC) introduced a Scheme, corresponding to the one for the Universities, during the X Plan called "College with Potential for Excellence" (CPE).

H.R. College of Commerce & Economics was selected by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) scheme,under which substantial funds will be provided to them to improve and strengthen its infrastructure to achieve higher academic standards.

Accredited A Grade by NAAC (National Assessment & Accreditation Council)

2002: H.R. College was the first college in Maharashtra to be accredited 'A' grade with a score of 87.95% by the NAAC (National Assessment & Accreditation Council) in 2002.
