<h2>Placement Process at IIM Kozhikode</h2>
<p>The placement season for the graduating batch at IIM Kozhikode starts in January. A separate lateral placement process for students with prior work experience begins in December, before the final placement season.</p>
<p>The lateral process offers entry into managerial roles in leading firms. The 20th batch was placed in companies such as Deutsche Bank, Altisource, Goldman Sachs, ICICI, BCG, McKinsey & Co., Accenture Strategy, Deloitte Consulting, HUL, ITC, Johnson & Johnson, TAS, and Aditya Birla Group.</p>

<h2>Recruiters and Offers</h2>
<p>Companies from multiple sectors participated and made offers across Finance, Marketing, Operations, Consulting, General Management, IT, and HR. Several new companies recruited from IIM Kozhikode for the first time.</p>
<ul>
<li>New recruiters included Arthur D Little, Aspect Ratio, Avendus Capital, Casio, Cedar Consulting, DHFL, GMR, Madura Coats, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, and United Health Group.</li>
<li>Students with relevant work experience received offers for senior managerial roles.</li>
<li>Over 81 Pre Placement Offers (PPOs) were secured by students across verticals.</li>
<li>Companies like Airtel, Asian Paints, Colgate Palmolive, EY, HUL, ITC, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Microsoft, and Reckitt Benckiser used the PPO route.</li>
</ul>
<p>Regular recruiters such as Avendus Capital, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Goldman Sachs, Altisource, Citi Bank, and Credit Suisse returned. Piramal Group, Standard Chartered IGP, and TATA Asset Management also came back after a gap.</p>
<p>Indian banks recruited actively from IIM Kozhikode. Financial institutions included SBI, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, and ICRA. Roles offered spanned Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, and Investment Banking.</p>

<h2>Marketing and FMCG Placements</h2>
<p>IIM Kozhikode saw strong participation from FMCG and B2B marketing firms. HUL, ITC, PepsiCo, and RB led the FMCG cluster.</p>
<p>3M, Asian Paints, and Idea led the B2B and service marketing verticals. Other brands like Casio, CCD, and Hindware also participated. In the broader marketing domain, J&J, Godrej, GSK Pharma, Lenovo, and Pidilite were part of the process.</p>

<h2>General Management and Consulting Roles</h2>
<p>Tata Communications selected IIM Kozhikode as a preferred recruitment ground and made offers to 9 students, the highest across any IIM. General Management roles were offered by TAS, Reliance Industries Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra, Saint Gobain, Aditya Birla Group, and Novartis.</p>
<p>Consulting firms such as McKinsey, BCG, Arthur D Little, EY, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, Cognizant Business Consulting, and Wipro Consulting Services participated in the placement process.</p>

<h2>IT and E-commerce Recruiters</h2>
<p>Twenty-one IT companies visited the campus this year. Google, Microsoft, Citrix, Microland, American Express, Capgemini, TCS, and Wipro were among the IT recruiters.</p>
<p>HUL, Bank of America, Standard Chartered, Shell, and PwC also opened IT roles for students. E-commerce firms including Amazon, Moglix, Flipkart, and eBay recruited from IIM Kozhikode for the first time.</p>

<h2>Operations and Public Sector Placements</h2>
<p>Operations roles in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, and Service Delivery saw participation from Amazon, Asian Paints, Citi, Cipla, L&T, RPG, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Shell, and Uber. Citi recruited in good numbers for its Operations and Technology domain.</p>
<p>Public sector companies such as Bharat Petroleum, IOCL, HPCL, and SBI have been regular recruiters. Entrepreneurial ventures and SMEs also recruited students from IIM Kozhikode.</p>
