Kashmir Government Polytechnic - [KGP]

Kashmir Government Polytechnic (KGP) got established with 3 diploma courses in civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. The earlier campus was in Naseem Bagh but the present campus is in Gogjibagh. The college is affiliated to The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Technical Education (JKSBOTE) and is approved by the All-India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Presently, the college offers 8 diploma courses and a few short-term courses in various disciplines of engineering. The admission is based on merit in secondary school examination marks and ranking/ cut off in the Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BPEE).
