Kurnool Medical College - [KMC]

Kurnool Medical College (KMC), Kurnool, was established in 1956 under the guidance of Sri T.T. Krishnamachari, who was the Finance Minister of India at that time. The college was affiliated with Sri Venkateswara University.

The institution is approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Medical Council of India (MCI). It offers admission in various medical courses, including MBBS, MD/MS, and DM/M.Ch.

Admission to the MBBS course is based on the marks obtained in NEET UG. Students planning for admission to MD/MS courses must clear the NEET PG cutoff.

For admission to super-speciality courses like DM/M.Ch, a student must clear NEET SS. Students who clear these entrance exams must undergo a counselling session conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Counseling Authority.
