Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College

A well-organized library in the college building with rich stock of reading materials can be described as the life line of any academic institution.(over 63000 books). It has been acknowledged as one of the best libraries by even MCI The I library has a very rich collection of more than 63 thousand volumes of Text/Reference books (of many titles in each subject. it regularly subscribes more than 75 National/International Medical Journals covering all the Clinical, Para-Clinical and Pre-Clinical subjects in addition to a long list of WHO periodicals/reports.

The library offers internet/e-mail and photocopy services to its readers. There is the Audiovisual section for self learning by students through the use of videos, slides and CD-ROMs. The members can borrow books under home issue system as per the rules of the library. Strict adherence to code of conduct inside the library is a must for all categories of readers. Each of the Clinical, Para-Clinical and Pre-Clinical departments has well organized Departmental Library with wide collection of text/reference books and Journals in their respective as well as allied subjects. However, the central library remains the core of the library network of this college. The Nursing Campus has its own separate library network.

A new Central Library to house in a separate huge and beautiful double storied building located at the center of the college campus is being built.
