Dr. Pinku Paul is MBA, M.Com, PhD. in Business Administration. She is UGC NET qualified. Her research interests are in behavioral finance, working capital management, supply chain finance, ESG and sustainability, e-banking, and value chain. She is involved in teaching subjects such as Management Accounting I and II, Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management, Supply Chain Finance, and Corporate Finance. She has authored several papers which have been published in books, national and international journals of various repute. She has also authored several books and edited books with publishers of repute. She has published case studies in Ivey Publishing, Canada, Sage Business Cases, and The Case Center UK. She has been involved in conducting MDPs and consulting works for companies such as MSTC, FSNL, LIC, and several Open MDPs. She has also worked as a Management Trainer in the World Bank Second India Development Market Place 2007 project. She has guided Ph.D. Scholar. She has been awarded Best Professor in Financial Management in 2015 during the 23rd Business School Affaire & Dewang Mehta National Education Award. She has also received the Best Researcher Award for the years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 at Management Development Institute Murshidabad.

She teaches the core courses Management Accounting-I, II and, Corporate Finance. She also offers the elective Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management and Supply Chain Finance.

To study the financial statement of the companies and state their financial health.

Each Academic Group selects its own Industry, chooses three companies from the Industry, and performs financial statement analysis by using tools such as comparative, common size, trend, and ratio analysis.
