<p>MANIT Bhopal provides hostel accommodation for its students. The institute has 12 residential blocks, including a mega and an ultra-mega hostel for boys, two hostels for girls, and one hostel for foreign students. The hostels can accommodate about 5500 students.</p><p>Hostel rooms come with basic furniture. Each room is provided with an almirah, table, chair, and cot. Common facilities in the hostels include LCD TVs, newspapers, water coolers, and a deep freezer.</p><p>Each hostel has a dining hall or mess. The mess is equipped with chapati making machines and mosquito capture machines. Sports facilities are also available within the hostels.</p><p>Hostel rules are strict. Boys are not allowed to visit girls' hostels at any time, and vice versa. Senior batch students are not allowed to enter first-year hostels at any time. All inmates of the girls' hostel and first-year students must return to the hostel by 10:00 P.M. and cannot leave before 6:00 A.M.</p><p>Ragging, hazing, bullying, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse are serious offenses and can lead to total rustication. Smoking, gambling, and the possession or consumption of alcohol and illicit drugs are strictly prohibited in the hostels. Students may practise their own religious beliefs only within their allotted rooms, without causing inconvenience to others. Mandatory routine medical tests and psychographic profiling are done by the medical staff and counsellor within a stipulated time.</p>
