Saveetha School of Law, Chennai, successfully organised a National Conference on *“Women’s Challenges in India: Law, Society, and Empowerment”* on *10 July 2026* in hybrid mode.
The Department of Research and Development and the Centre for Criminal Justice Research (CCJR), Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, successfully organised a One-Day International Seminar on “Between Regulation and Risk: Intersection of Law, Public Health and Socio-Economic Vulnerabilities of Women Sex Workers” on 30th April 2026 at the New Moot Court Hall.
The National Conference on “Entrepreneurship for Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth” organized by the Centre for Law and Economics, Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, on 3rd April, 2026 brought together academicians and scholars to deliberate on contemporary entrepreneurial challenges and opportunities. The conference featured distinguished resource persons including Dr. A. Annadurai, Madras Christian College, Chennai as the keynote speaker, Dr. M. S. Suganthiya, Amity University, Mumbai, Mr. Suruliraj Jyyappan, The Quaide Milleth College for Men, Chennai, and Ms. Sukanya H., Dr. Ambedkar Govt. Law College, Puducherry.
An International Conference was organized by Ms. Revathy R., Ph.D. Scholar, Saveetha School of Law, with the support and guidance of the Patron, Prof. Dr. Asha Sundram, Principal, Saveetha School of Law, Chennai, Convenor Prof. Dr. Petikam Sailaja, Co Convenor Dr. B. Jeyaprabha , Associate Professor in New Moot Court Hall, Saveetha School of Law on 26.03.2026 from 9 am onwards.
On 7 March 2026, an International Conference titled “Beyond Control: The Black Hole Effect of the Internet on Copyright Ownership and Enforcement” was successfully organised, bringing together academicians, legal professionals, researchers, and students to discuss contemporary challenges in copyright law within the rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.
The Department of Labour Law and the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences successfully organized an International Conference on Work Life Harmony on 4 March 2026. The conference aimed to discuss and compare the concept of work life harmony in India and abroad.
The One Day National Seminar on “Understanding Rare Disease Policy and Healthcare Regulations in India” was organized by Ms. Swathi G, Research Scholar on 28.2.26 in Saveetha School of Law. There were 190 enthusiastic participants including students, researchers, academicians, and healthcare law enthusiasts, reflecting the increasing academic and social concern toward rare disease policy and regulatory frameworks in India.
