Sriram Engineering College - [SEC]

Sriram Engineering College (Tamil: ஸ்ரீராம் பொறியியல் கல்லூரி) is an engineering institution situated in Perumalpattu, Chennai City, Tiruvallur Dt., Tamil Nadu, India[reference:0]. The college is affiliated to Anna University Chennai. Established in 1993 by Thiru M.E.

Devarajan (founder and chairman of Sriram Educational Trust), this college is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu[reference:1]. It has produced around 9000 engineering graduates getting placed in various companies[reference:2]. The college is spread across 35.7 acres of land[reference:3].

SEC has a total enrollment of 373 students and a faculty of 57[reference:4]. The college teaches 11 programs across 2 levels of degree[reference:5]. The campus provides separate accommodation for boys and girls, each with a capacity of 250 students, a central library, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a 24-hour ambulance service, a cafeteria, IT facilities, and a fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,200 persons[reference:6].
