Scholarships
Indiana University of Pennsylvania scholarships recognize achievements in academics, athletics, and the arts. The university offers a wide range of scholarships for domestic and international students. The IUP scholarships are offered to all international students from IUP's Office of International Education for a Partial Tuition Waiver. Partial tuition waivers are awarded to eligible international students based on financial need, and no additional application form is necessary. If students are awarded a PTW, the amount of funding will be reflected on the immigration documents (I-20 or DS-2019), and an official PTW letter will be included in the student's acceptance package.
PTW Amounts are as follows:
- Full-time undergraduate students: Receive USD 2,500/INR 2.00L per semester and are required to complete 40 hours of community service
- Part-time undergraduate students: Receive USD 210/INR 17k per credit and must complete 20 hours of community service
- Post-Bacc. Students: Receive USD 125/INR 10k per credit up to 12 credits and are required to complete 20 hours of community service for a nine- to 12-credit waiver and 10 hours for a six-credit waiver or less.
- Graduate Students: Receive USD 140/INR 11k per credit up to 9 credits and are required to complete 20 hours of community service for a six- to nine-credit waiver and 10 hours for three credits or less.
- Graduate Students who have a 10-hour GA receive USD 70/INR 5.8k per credit up to nine credits and are required to complete 10 hours of community service for a six- to nine-credit waiver.
