BITS HD Test Score Validity
No. Your BITS HD test score is valid for the 2026 cycle only. It cannot be carried forward to BITS HD 2027.
However, your GATE or GPAT score remains valid for three years from the year of examination. A 2025 or 2026 GATE score can still be used for BITS HD 2027 applications via the GATE/GPAT route.
Classwork Start Date for BITS HD 2026-27
Classwork begins on August 3, 2026, at all three BITS campuses.
Before that, you need to complete the following steps:
- Report to the campus by July 30.
- Attend new student orientation on July 31.
- Complete coursework registration on August 1.
Stipend for BITS HD Students
BITS Pilani offers a monthly stipend to HD students who work as Teaching Assistants (TAs) or Research Assistants (RAs).
The amount varies by programme and campus. It is shared during orientation.
