CGPET 2024 Application Form
The CGPET 2024 application form was released on March 4 on the official website vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. The last date to submit the application form is April 7.
The application form correction window will remain open from April 8 to 10.
Application Fee
The application fee for CGPET 2024 depends on the category of the applicant.
- General category: INR 200
- OBC category: INR 150
- SC/ST category: INR 100
Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible to apply only if you have scored 45% in Class 12. The eligibility criteria for CGPET 2024 are listed below.
Academic Qualification
- Applicant must pass Class 12th / Senior Secondary Examination from a Recognised Board or University of India
- Compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam must be Physics, Chemistry, and Maths
- Minimum secured marks must be 45% for the General category
- Minimum secured marks for ST/SC/OBC/PH category must be 40%
Age Limit
- The maximum age on July 7, 2024, should not be more than 30 years

CGPET 2024 will be conducted on June 6 in more than 28 districts of Chhattisgarh. Some percentage of seats are reserved for residents of Chhattisgarh.
How to Fill CGPET Application Form
The entire process of applying for CGPET 2024 is online. Follow the steps below to submit the application form.

- Look for a link for Entrance Exam
- Click on the Online Application Form for PET 2024
- The form will open
- Fill in the form with the required information
The application form is divided into 7 parts.
Step 1: Exam Prerequisite
- Are you a citizen of India: There are 2 Radio Buttons: Yes or No
- Exam Applied For: 3 options will be given here - PET, PPHT, BOTH PET & PPHT
- Select PET
Step 2: Fill Up the Basic Information
Fill in all personal information in this section.

Step 3: Uploading Self Photograph, Images of Signature, and Thumb Impression
Click on the link “DOWNLOAD IMAGE FORMAT” on the right side of the same page. A new page will open.
Take a print of this page showing space for Photograph, Signature, and Thumb Impression.
- Affix your Photograph of Size (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms)
- Below this Signature on this page in specified space with black color ink
- Write Your Name Below this
- Put Thumb Impression
- Scan this page and save it to jpeg/jpg format
- The size of the scanned page file should not be minimum of 40 kb and maximum of 50 kb
- Upload this file; your photo, signature, name, and thumb impression will be displayed now on the application form

Fill in the following details in this section.

Step 5: Contact Information

Exam Center
Select Exam District from the drop-down menu. There are 27 Districts selected for conducting CGPET 2024.
Step 5: Declaration
Read the declaration carefully before proceeding.
- I Agree: Click with the mouse on Check Box
- Please enter the code shown below: Feed in the box as is shown Captcha Code below
Step 6: Submit Button
A new window will open stating 2 options: CONTINUE and EDIT. If you wish to change any information you fed in the application form, click on EDIT. Otherwise, click on CONTINUE.
- A new window will open “APPLICATION VERIFICATION”
- Verify the application form
- Now this will show: Verify Submitted Information before proceeding to PAY Gateway
- If you find some error at this stage, you will have to start again with the process as correction is not possible now.
- Application Form is submitted at this point and Registration ID will generate
- The fee Payment Process starts here
Step 7: Payment
The application fees for different categories are different.

Online Payment
There will be 3 gateways to pay the online fee.
- ICICI Bank
- HDFC Bank
- SBI Bank
Select any bank. Payment can be made using Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card. Select any option and follow the instruction. Make Payment.
Offline Payment
Offline payment will have to be made through SBI Bank only. The same procedure as above is to be followed.
- Choose SBI payment gateway
- Here a new page will open “SBI BANK MOPS” payment system
- Choose other modes
- Select SBI Branch
- A challan form will open mentioning your Registration ID
- Take a print of it
- Taking this, deposit payment to SBI bank.

CGPET 2024 Application Form Correction
Candidates who want to edit/correct their application can do so in case of any errors that might have crept in during registration.
How to Edit the CGPET 2024 Application Form
Candidates can make corrections to their submitted CGPET 2024 application form during the correction window. The process is done online through the official website.
- Visit the official website and log in to your account in the candidates' section.
- Click on the edit application button.
- Review the already submitted application form and make corrections wherever required.
- After making all corrections, press the Final Submit button to submit the form.
Candidates might be charged a fee for making corrections. Details about the fee will be available soon.
No other facility will be provided for making changes once the form correction dates are over.
Frequently Asked Questions
How to get Registration ID?
When you submit the application and go to the payment gateway, it asks you to verify information. After confirmation, a payment form opens which shows the Registration ID and the fee to be paid.
Do I need to upload all academic records with the application form?
No, you need not upload any academic record. Whatever is required to be uploaded will be mentioned on the application form for CGPET 2024.
I am not able to see the application form properly, what to do?
Your web browser is not of an updated version. Change your browser.
I am a non-resident of Chhattisgarh, am I eligible for CGPET 2024?
Yes, if you are an Indian resident you can apply for CGPET 2024. Being a non-resident of Chhattisgarh, you will not get the benefit of reserved quota in admission, which is especially for Chhattisgarh residents.
I have not paid the fee but submitted the application form, can I edit it?
It is not possible to make a change. You will have to submit a new form.
I made an error and submitted the form with fee payment. Will the fee be adjusted if I submit a new form?
No, such a facility is not provided either by the associated bank or by CGPEBR, the governing body of the CGPET 2024 examination.
