AIIMS PG (INI CET) 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for appearing at INI CET 2026 exam has been provided below. The exam is conducted for admission into MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and MDS courses.

INI CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold an MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs courses and a BDS degree for MDS courses. The degree must be from a university accredited by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India.

Applicants must complete 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 31st January 2026 for all INIs. Candidates finishing their internship after 31st January 2026 cannot register for this examination.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • SC/ST categories: 50% in aggregate
  • OBC/EWS categories: 55% in aggregate
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD): the minimum aggregate for the category to which the candidate belongs applies
  • Sponsored Candidates: same minimum aggregate marks as mentioned above

For Indian National candidates who graduated from foreign universities, marks in the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) are considered instead of aggregate marks. The minimum qualifying marks are the same in this case.
