Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test Application Process

GPAT 2026 Registration Started

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) opened the GPAT 2026 registration window on 23 December 2025. Candidates must check the GPAT Eligibility Criteria before filling out the registration form.

The application fee for Gen/OBC/EWS candidates is INR 3500.
The application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates is INR 2500.
Candidates who complete the application process, including fee payment, can use the application correction facility.
The GPAT Form Correction window opens after the registration process is complete.
The GPAT exam is scheduled for 7 April 2026 in online mode at various centres.

GPAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

The basic eligibility criteria for GPAT 2026 are listed below.

Candidates must have the citizenship status of India	Candidates from any age can appear in the exam	Must hold a bachelor degree in Pharmacy with the duration of years after passing the higher secondary board examination.

Note:

Candidates from lateral entry need to have the similar eligibility criteria mentioned above.
Applicants who are appearing in the final exam of B. Pharmacy can also apply for the test.
Candidates who have passed their Graduation/B.Tech with Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology)/ equivalent will not be allowed for the test.

GPAT 2026 Application Fee

The application fee depends on the candidate's category.

Gen/OBC/EWS candidates: INR 3500
SC/ST/PWD candidates: INR 2500

How to Fill Up GPAT Application Form 2026

All candidates are advised to keep some important documents to complete the application process. The complete list of documents is given above.

Keep the following items ready before you start filling the GPAT 2026 application form.

A computer with good Internet connectivity
All your qualification details
Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format
Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format
A valid e-mail ID as all communication will be made on it
A valid mobile number as all information via SMS will be sent to this number
A valid debit/credit card or Net bank account if you want to pay ONLINE
A printer connected to your system to print e-challan and confirmation page

Steps to Fill GPAT 2026 Application Form

The process to fill and complete the GPAT application form is given below.

Step 1: Registration for Online Application

Go to the official website of NTA-GPAT, i.e, gpat.nta.nic.in.
Navigate to the link on 'Fill Online Application Form'. The following window will be displayed.
Go to the 'New Registration' tab placed under the New Candidate Registration box.
Go through the Instructions and Procedure.
Download the Information Bulletin.
Select the 'Click here to Proceed' tab.
Enter all the details, which include personal details, contact details, chosen password, and security pin.
Review all the particulars carefully.
For any changes, select the 'Edit Registration Form'.

Step 2: Complete Application Form

Enter the application number and password to login again.
Choose and enter four preferences for the exam cities.
Fill up all the information and review the application form again.

Step 3: Upload Images

Candidates must scan and upload the following items.

Photograph
Signature
Enter the security pin.
Select 'I have verified Uploaded images carefully'.

Step 4: Fee Payment

After completing the application procedure, candidates need to pay the application fee. The payment can be made through the following methods.

Pay the fee by SBI MOPS using Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or PayTM.
Check the validity of the Debit/Credit Card and preserve it to log in to the website. Enter the details as asked for and pay via Debit/Credit Card.
Log in with credentials of net banking and make payment through Net Banking.

Size of photos	Photo GPAT Application 2026: Common Questions Answered GPAT 2026 Admit Card Release The admit card is generally released within a week after the completion of the GPAT Application 2026 process. The duration for GPAT 2026 is expected to remain the same. Keeping the GPAT Application Form Printout Keep the printout of the GPAT Application Form 2026 until the admission process is over. It can be kept after that as a reference. Failure to Upload Scanned Signature If the scanned signature is not uploaded during the GPAT Application 2026 process, the application form will not be submitted. The process will be cancelled. Sending the Application Form by Offline Mode No, the printout of the GPAT Application Form 2026 does not need to be sent by any offline mode. The form must be submitted online only.
