HP PAT 2024 Eligibility
The minimum eligibility for HP PAT 2024 is passing the 10th standard exam from a recognized board with 35% aggregate marks. Candidates must also meet the following conditions.
- Candidates need to have the state domicile of Himachal Pradesh.
- Aspirants must have passed their class 10 board examination from the HP board or any other recognized board.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination with Science, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.
Application forms of ineligible candidates are rejected by the conducting authority.

The HP PAT 2024 application fee for the General category is INR 650. The fee for SC/ST/OBC categories is INR 400.

The HP PAT 2024 exam pattern is available on the official website, hptechboard.com. The exam is conducted in offline mode using an OMR sheet.
Answers must be marked on the OMR sheet with a blue or black dot pen. An HB pencil is not allowed.
The question paper covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry sections are set in both English and Hindi.
The exam has 150 questions in total. Candidates get 3 hours to complete the paper.
Stray marks or marking more than one answer for a question are not allowed on the OMR sheet. Rough work must be done in the question paper booklet, not on the answer sheet.
Mathematics and Physics carry the highest weightage, with 50 questions each. Physics includes a certain number of numerical-based questions.

HP PAT 2024 Exam Day Instructions
