KEAM 2025 Rank List Released
CEE Kerala released the revised KEAM Rank List 2025 for Engineering on July 10, 2025. The Pharmacy rank list was released earlier on July 1, 2025.
Candidates can check the rank list on the official website – cee.kerala.gov.in in the ‘Result’ tab. The rank list for KEAM 2025 is released separately, after verifying Class 12 marks submitted by candidates.
Out of 76227 candidates qualified in the KEAM Engineering, 67505 candidates had submitted their Plus 2 marks.

KEAM 2025 Exam Overview
- In KEAM 2025, around 1.2 lakh candidates appeared for around 59,000 engineering seats in 5,000 government colleges, 2,000 aided colleges, and 52,000 in autonomous and private colleges.
- As per the previous year, for KEAM 2025, cutoffs below 5,000 get into top government colleges, and ranks up to 55,000 might get into private self-financing institutes.
KEAM 2025 Admission will follow a 50:50 weightage of KEAM entrance scores and normalised Class 12 marks.
In KEAM 2024, approximately 79,044 candidates appeared for the exam, of which the top scorer achieved the 99.97th percentile, showing high competition for top colleges.

How are KEAM Marks Calculated in 2025?
KEAM 2025 marks are calculated from two components. These are the entrance exam score and the normalised marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the Class 12 board exams.
The two scores are combined in a 50:50 proportion to create the final rank list. This rank list is released along with the KEAM result.
Entrance Exam Score Calculation
The KEAM Engineering exam has two papers. Paper I covers Physics and Chemistry, and Paper II covers Mathematics.
Each paper has 120 marks, making the total 240 marks.

Is 17k a good rank in KEAM?
A 17,000 rank in KEAM will help in getting admission to private or self-financing engineering colleges in Kerala, but it will not generally be enough for top government colleges. Candidates with this rank can still be allotted branches like Mechanical, Civil, or ECE in mid-tier institutions based on their category and seat availability.
KEAM 2025 Expected Cut-off
The KEAM 2025 cutoff is the minimum rank needed to join various engineering colleges in Kerala. The cutoffs are college-wise, branch-wise, and category-wise, and are trend-based from KEAM 2024.
- CET Trivandrum CSE will likely close below Rank 800 (General), and that will be the most competitive branch in KEAM 2025.

KEAM 2025 Counselling
Eligible candidates can attend the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala after the KEAM 2025 result is announced. The CAP is for admission to B.Tech courses in government, aided, and private engineering colleges in the state.
