MH CET Law Registration 2026 Status

The State CET Cell Maharashtra has closed the MH CET Law Registration 2026 for 3-year LLB courses. The deadline was extended to 3rd March 2026.

The Form Correction window for the 3-year LLB Course is now open. It started on 9th March and will close on 11 March 2026. The official website is cetcell.mahacet.org.

  • Only registered candidates can complete the application form and pay the CET registration fee.
  • The Form Correction window allows candidates to correct details such as name, photo, signature, DOB, and gender.

There is no current update regarding the MH CET Law Application Dates for the 5-Year LLB Program. The application process will include online registration, filling in academic and contact details, uploading documents, and fee payment.

MH CET Law Exam Dates 2026

The MH CET Law Exam will be held separately for admissions into both 5-Year LLB and 3-Year LLB Programs.

  • The MHT CET Law 3-Year LLB Exam will be conducted on 1st and 2nd April 2026.
  • The MH CET Law 5-Year LLB Exam is expected to be held on 8th May 2026.

MH CET Law 2026: Application Process

Registration steps for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programs are almost similar. The steps are listed below.

  1. Visit the official website or CET Cell’s website.
  2. Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab, which will redirect to a new screen.
  3. Select the ‘Click Here for New Registration’ tab.
  4. Enter Name, Contact Details and Email ID.
  5. A provisional Registration No. and Password will be generated and sent to the registered Email ID and Mobile Number.

Log in to the portal with the provisional ID and password. Complete the form by filling in all the details as asked.

Click the “Save and Next” button. When sure of the information, click on the “Submit” button and move to the next step.

Candidate Name Includes the details of first name, middle name, and last name.
Email ID A valid functional email id that can be used for communication.
Mobile Number A functional mobile number so that candidates can receive notifications on the phone.
Candidate Age Age has to be given in years and months, e.g., 26 years and 6 months.
Date of Birth To verify the age, DOB is printed in the format of date, month, and year.
Father Name Name of the father in 50 characters as printed in the class 10th certificate.
Mother Name A name written without a prefix must have 50 characters and must match the name printed on the birth certificate.
Class 10th Marks Percentage marks obtained in class 10 and the year of passing class 10. Details of the board cleared in class 10.
Class 12th Marks Details of the stream selected, board percentage marks, and year of passing class 12.
Graduation subjects (Only for 3-year LLB Program) Subjects studied in graduation, university details, and percentage marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Reservation details Upload the certificate issued and registered with government bodies. Reservation is for Kashmir migrants, SC/ST, OBC, OBC of Gujarat.
Address details Details of street, city, district, etc., in the format displayed on the official website.

MH CET Law Application Form 2026: Uploading of Documents

Upload scanned images of additional documents, photographs, and signatures. This must comply with the guidelines defined by the conducting body.

  • Passport size colored photograph of 200 x 230 dimensions.
  • Scanned image of the signature in 140 x 60 dimensions with a file size of less than 20 kb.
  • All the images must be uploaded in JPEG format.

The application fee for CET can be paid via online mode only. Bank transaction charges for online payment will have to be borne by the applicant.

  • Modes of payment – Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro)/ Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS (Immediate Payment Service), Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
  • Once the application fee is submitted, do not press the refresh button or return to the back page.
  • An e-receipt will be generated once the application fee is received. Take a printout of the form then.
  • If no fee receipt gets generated, this can mean that the system has failed.
  • If a candidate uses an international credit card, the transaction will be accepted in Indian rupees only. Conversion charges will be borne by the candidate.
  • The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

MH CET Law 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for MH CET LLB 5-Year Program

  • The candidate should be an Indian Citizen.
  • SSC or HSC graduates from a recognized school in Maharashtra with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category).
  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in the academic year 2023 can also apply online for the CET Exam. Such candidates must produce the documents for the qualifying examination at the time of counseling.

Eligibility for MH CET LLB 3-Year Program

  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • A graduate or postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized university in Maharashtra with a minimum of 45% marks.
  • No upper age limit for admissions to the 3-year LLB CET.
