• The Demand Draft must be drawn in favour of "MICA Ahmedabad" payable at Ahmedabad.

MICAT 2025 Answer Key

There is no official MICAT answer key released by the authorities. Coaching centers release their own answer keys to help students estimate their probable scores.

Based on these answer keys, students can calculate an approximate score using the number of correct and incorrect attempts. There is no negative marking for the Descriptive and Psychometric sections.

The Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and Divergent and Convergent Thinking sections have negative marking. A penalty of 0.25 percent of the allotted marks is deducted for each incorrect answer.

MICAT 2025 Selection Process

Candidates are shortlisted for the PI and GE rounds based on their MICAT I or MICAT II scores. If a candidate attempts both exams, the better of the two scores is considered.

Admission to MICAT 2025 is based on XAT, CAT, or GMAT scores, MICAT scores, and the GE and PI rounds. The evaluation and selection of candidates are done purely on performance.

How to Calculate MICAT 2025 Scaled Scores

The marks scored by a candidate in a section of MICAT-I or MICAT-II are converted into a Scaled Score. This is done using a specific formula for each component.

The formula for one component, Verbal Ability (VA), is:

Scaled Score - VA of a candidate 'X' in MICAT-I/MICAT-II = (Score - VA of the candidate 'X'/Maximum obtained by any candidate amongst those who appeared in MICAT-I/MICAT-II in VA) multiplied by Maximum Possible Score in VA in MICAT-I/MICAT-II.

• Scaled scores are calculated for all MICAT-I/MICAT-II components using the same formula: VA, QA, GA, DCR and DT.
• The total MICAT-I/MICAT-II score is calculated using the Scaled Scores for each of these components.

Weightage Given to Different Rounds of MICAT 2025

Candidates who clear the MICAT 2025 entrance exam must take part in a group exercise (GE) and personal interview (PI). The weightage for each round is given in the table below.

Computation of MICAT Result 2025

The result is computed based on the marking scheme for different sections. There is no negative marking for Psychometric and descriptive sections.

Shortlisting of Candidates for GE-PI of MICAT 2025

The shortlisting process for the next round begins with the Psychometric test. Candidates who clear it are then evaluated on other sections.

• Candidates who clear the psychometric test are evaluated on their performance in Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative Ability (QA), General awareness (GA) and Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR) sections.
• Once candidates meet the requisite cut off of different sections, they are assessed on the descriptive test.
• Candidates who meet the parameters mentioned above are called for GE/PI.
• The list of shortlisted candidates is prepared on the basis of MICAT I and/or MICAT II, or the better of the two scores if a candidate appeared in both exams.

MICAT 2025 Cut Off

MICAT 2025 Cut Off is the minimum qualifying marks candidates need to score in each section to be eligible for the next round of selection. The authorities do not officially announce the cutoff of MICAT.

MICA Ahmedabad does not release any official cut off list for admission in PGDM-C. Students who fail to clear the minimum cut off are not shortlisted for the MICAT Selection Process.

MICAT 2025 Counselling/ Admission

MICAT 2025 Seat Allotment Process

MICA Ahmedabad fills 180 seats through counselling. Students must stay focused once the merit list is released. There are two ways of selection.

• 10% of seats are filled through "spot allotment".
• The remaining seats are filled through central counselling.

In spot allotment, the institute may offer admission directly based on your PI, GE, and XAT/CAT/GMAT scores. You do not appear for counselling in this case. A course is selected for you based on your choice and the best-suited domain. You must pay the admission fee immediately to confirm. If you do not accept the offer, it is terminated, and you can join the regular counselling process.

In central counselling, students are invited to MICA Ahmedabad. They must fill their course choices and wait for the final allotment list.

MICAT 2025 Admission Process for Foreign Nationals and NRIs

Foreign Nationals and NRI candidates must follow a separate selection process for MICAT 2025. They have to provide their GMAT scores from 2018 onwards.
