National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test MP Counselling 2026

The MP NEET UG Counselling 2026 registration is expected to begin in August 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under 85% State Quota.

The Counselling process will be conducted by the Directorate Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh at dmemponlinegov.in.

• The detailed counselling schedule, registration dates and advisory will be released on dmemponlinegov.in.
• Candidate should have qualified NEET UG 2026 and possess a valid MP domicile certificate to participate in 85% state quota counselling.
• Non- domicile candidates are allowed to participate from Round 2 onwards for private medical and dental colleges, subject to counselling rules.
• Seat Allotment list will be published based on NEET UG 2026 rank, category, reservation policy, seat availability and choices filled by candidates.

MP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration Process

The step-by-step guide for how to register for MP NEET UG Counselling at dme.mponline.gov.in is discussed below:

• Step 1: Select “Create Profile” at dme.mponline.gov.in.
• Step 2: Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number, Date of Birth, Secret Key and Captcha, then click on the “Create Profile” button.

• Step 3: The candidate’s details will be uploaded. You need to enter your contact details and Bank Account details, then click on the “Update” button to receive an OTP.
• Step 4: Enter the OTP received on your Mobile Number/Email ID and create a new password. Then click on the “Validate and Save” button.

• Step 5: After clicking the “Validate and Save” button, the message shown below will appear, as you have created your profile successfully.
• Step 6: Now click on the MP NEET UG Counselling “Registration Form” link.
• Step 7: Fill in your required details: NRI Details, Domicile Details, Category Details, PwD Details, Freedom Fighter/Sainik Details/Students of MP Govt Schools, Qualifying Exam Details (10+2) in the registration form and click on save button.
• Step 8: Upload documents; after that, click on the “Save Enclosures” button.

• Step 9: If the information is correct, click on the “Proceed to Payment for Registration” button; otherwise, go to the “Back to Registration Form” button to correct the details.
• Step 10: Choose the online payment gateway and pay the MP NEET Registration Fee of INR 1100.
• Step 11: After paying the registration fee, you will be able to download the registration receipt, as it will be required later on.

Note: If you want to edit your registration details after payment, you can edit your details through the Edit Registration Form option within the registration end date.

MP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Fees

After the MP NEET Counselling registration process ends, DME publishes the MP NEET Counselling merit list 2026 to determine who is eligible for the choice filling process. The MP NEET UG Merit list 2026 shows details of selected candidates based on their:

• Reservation

Only the names of the candidates present in the merit list are eligible for the choice filing round.

How to Fill Choices and Lock Preference for MP NEET UG Counselling 2026

The detailed guide on how to fill choices for MP NEET UG Counselling is described below:

• Step 1: Access your candidate corner by using your NEET UG 2026 Roll Number and Password, and then enter Captcha and click on “SUBMIT” at dme.mponline.gov.in.

• Step 2: Click on the “choice filling” option.
• Step 3: Choose the option for where you want to fill in your choices, then click on “Proceed for Next” button.

• Step 4: Select the checkboxes in front of the given college list according to your choice of preference and click on “Review Selected Preferences”.
• Step 5: After clicking on “Review Selected Preferences”, two options will appear:
  • By selecting option “Change College Preferences”, you can go back and change your preference or select new colleges.
  • By selecting option “Proceed to Next Step”, you can save your preference and proceed to lock your choice filling option.

• Step 6: Your Selected College Preferences will be shown on this screen. Now, you will have to pay the INR 100 portal fee to lock the choices for allotment. If you do not lock your choices, your choices will not be considered for allotment.
• Step 7: After completing the choice filling, the Online Counselling Choice Filling receipt will be generated. You have to take a printout of the same for future reference.

Note: You can edit your Locked Choices through the option available in your candidate Login till the schedule for choice filling and locking. If you choose the edit option, you need to lock it successfully; otherwise, your previously locked choices will be considered for allotment.
