NMIMS NPAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Economics

Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% in class 12 examination or equivalent in the first attempt from any recognized board, including International Baccalaureate Diploma in any stream. Candidates who hold IB certificate / & D.P. are ineligible for NMIMS NPAT 2025.

Aspirants must have passed Mathematics or Statistics subject in class 12 examination or equivalent. For IB candidates, they must have passed Standard Level (SL) Mathematics or Statistics to be eligible.

The maximum age limit for being eligible to appear in NMIMS NPAT 2025 is 25 years. Candidates must mention class 12th aggregate marks of all subjects they have appeared in the ICSE/CBSE examination during online registration or re-admission.

For eligibility purposes, the aggregate percentage of all subjects is considered at the time of admission. If candidates have their result in percentile, the actual aggregate percentage of all subjects will be considered. Candidates who have their result in GPA/CGPA should get the equivalent percentage from the concerned board or university in writing.

Candidates who have yet to receive their final mark sheet but are called for admission counseling will be allowed provisional admission on the basis of the NMIMS NPAT merit list. Such candidates will have to submit the fees, but only the submission of the final mark sheet before the program commences will confirm their admission. For confirming eligibility, they will have to submit a copy of the AIU notification for the equivalence of their program to the class 12 examination.

An AIU certificate of equivalence should be submitted by International school candidates as an equivalent of the class 12th examination. Candidates who have passed class 12 examination or equivalent from Open or Distance learning school recognized only by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are subject to fulfillment of program eligibility. Candidates passing class 12 examination or equivalent part-time or through distance learning, correspondence, externally, or open school that are not recognized by NIOS will be ineligible for this test.

At the time of admission, candidates who do not have their mark sheets available should get a copy of the result from the internet duly attested by the Principal of the school or college and submit the same. Failing to do so will result in rejection in admission.

It is mandatory to pass the qualifying examination on the first attempt. A single mark sheet displaying marks of all subjects is mandatory. A compartmentalized mark sheet will not be considered.

    NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Day Rules

    You must carry a valid admit card issued for NMIMS NPAT 2025 to the exam. The exam cannot be attempted without the admit card for any reason.

    Carry one original photo ID proof along with the NMIMS NPAT Admit Card. Be prepared to show both documents whenever the exam authorities ask for them.

    Prohibited Items in the Exam Hall

    Several items are not allowed inside the NMIMS NPAT exam hall. This includes any document other than the admit card and ID proof, any size and type of paper, mobile phones, analog watches, communication devices, calculators, and other electronic gadgets.

    Food and beverages are not allowed during the exam. Water can be taken only with the prior permission of the invigilator or as per the instructions.

    Conduct Inside the Exam Hall

    Do not leave the exam hall without the permission of the invigilator. Conversation or discussion with any other candidate is not allowed and is deemed a punishable act.

    If there is a problem with the sitting facility or anything else causing disturbance, do not handle it yourself. Bring it to the notice of the invigilator and let them resolve the problem.

    Visitor and Behaviour Rules

    If someone accompanies a candidate, they will not be allowed to enter the NMIMS NPAT examination center. Do not expect the exam center authorities to provide any facility for visitors, as they are not instructed to do so.

    Misbehavior, creating an undisciplined environment, troubling officials, or not assisting in the verification process will not be tolerated. Severe punitive action will be taken under the rules and regulations of the examination.

The NMIMS NPAT 2025 syllabus covers Logical Reasoning & General Intelligence and Quantitative & Numerical Ability. NMIMS NPAT Paper 2 tests Spatial Ability and Visualization Skills, Observation & Problem Solving, and General Awareness & Design Sensibility.

What is NPAT?

NMIMS Programs After Twelfth (NPAT) is conducted by constituent schools of SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. The exam is for students seeking admission to Undergraduate and Integrated Degree Programs offered by NMIMS at Mumbai, Shirpur, Indore, Navi Mumbai, and Bengaluru Campuses.

The NMIMS NPAT 2025 result will be declared on 24 June 2025 at 5 PM on the official website. The result was initially scheduled for 23 June 2025 but was delayed.

The NPAT merit list will be released by NMIMS separately for each course. Candidates can check their qualifying status by logging in with their NPAT ID and date of birth.

The NMIMS NPAT counselling will start from 25 June - 2 July 2025. This is an offline process.

The BSc Economics course will commence from 10 July 2025. Courses like BBA, BCom, BSc Finance, and BBA FinTech will begin from 11 July 2025.

Admit Card for NMIMS NPAT 2025 is a compulsory document to carry with during the exam but along with Admit Card, one more document as proof of identity of the candidate is mandatory to present at the time of NMIMS NPAT 2025 exam for the purpose of verification.

NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Day Instructions

As per the regulations for NMIMS NPAT 2025 exam some instructions regarding the conduction of NMIMS NPAT 2025 exam for maintaining discipline, transparency, and smooth operations of all activities of the exam. The candidate must follow all the instructions.

  • Keep Valid Admit Card issued for NMIMS NPAT 2025 during exam
  • No request is going to be entertained for attempting NMIMS NPAT 2025 exam without Admit Card whatsoever is the reason.
  • Keep one Original Photo ID Proof along with NMIMS NPAT Admit Card.
  • Any document other than Admit Card and ID Proof, any size and type of Paper, Mobile Phone, Analog Watch, Any Communication Device, Calculator, and Electronic Devices and Gadgets are not allowed in NMIMS NPAT exam hall
  • Don’t leave exam hall without the permission of Invigilator
  • Produce Admit Card and ID proof twice or thrice, whenever is asked to by the authorities, don’t be irritated
  • Any food or beverage is not allowed to have during the exam. Only water can be taken with the prior permission of the invigilator or as per the instructions
  • Conversation or Discussion with any other candidate is not allowed. Such an act is deemed to be a punishable act.
  • If there is some problem with the sitting facility or anything else that is creating a disturbance, don’t try to handle it on your own. Bring this to the notice of the invigilator and let him resolve the problem.
  • If somebody comes with the candidate, he or she is not going to be allowed to enter in NMIMS NPAT examination center. Don’t expect exam center authorities to provide any facility as they are not instructed for the same so please don’t create an argument with any of the staff persons.
  • No candidates should misbehave in any manner or create a disorderly scene in the NMIMS NPAT Examination Hall or harass the assisting staff employed for the conduct of the examination. Any such misconduct is going to be severely penalized.

Exam Centers

NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Center-  Every year, lakhs of aspirants appear for the NMIMS NPAT Exam to get admission in various Undergraduate and Integrated Degree Programs offered by NMIMS at Mumbai, Shirpur, and Bengaluru Campuses. Candidates who wish to appear in NMIMS NPAT 2025 should choose exam centers according to their preferences while filling up the application form. They must fill those 3 choices of cities in order of their preference. 

  • NMIMS NPAT 2025 Application Form is released online on the official website. Candidates who completed or appeared in the Class 12th exam will be eligible to apply for NMIMS NPAT 2025 by May 26, 2025.
  • NMIMS NPAT 2025 will be conducted as an online computer-based test at test centers from March 1, 2025, to May 31, 2025.

The candidate should note that the choices for NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Centers once submitted cannot be changed under any circumstance. NPAT Allotment Exam Centers

NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Centre Allotment 

NMIMS NPAT 2025 is conducted in 49 cities across the country for the applicant’s convenience. Each applicant gets the chance to further choose 3 exam cities, out of the 49 cities around the country where the exam is conducted, during the NMIMS NPAT 2025 Application Form. The candidate should carefully choose the cities and has to be filled in the order of preference. However, the final center allotted to the candidate will be mentioned in the NMIMS NPAT 2025 Admit Card.

Note: Organizing body NMIMS holds all the authority to allot any center or to make any kind of change in it and the same has to be followed by the candidate.

NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Centre: For Physically Challenged Candidates

NMIMS provides assistance in reaching the NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Center, so the candidates who wish to request assistance or any kind of help have to give details about it in the NMIMS NPAT 2025 Application Form while registering online. Concerned candidate has to scan Disability Certificate and send it along with NMIMS NPAT Exam ID and name at the time of registration to the Gmail ID.

After NMIMS NPAT 2025 Registration Process closing date, no request for assistance or any certificate received will be accepted. The candidate has to reach on his/her own to the allotted NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Center, without any kind of assistance from the organizing body. One must note that each application is reviewed on an individual basis and appropriate assistance is made available to the specific candidate at the test center accordingly.

  • The center once selected and submitted by the candidate cannot be changed under any circumstance
  • In case adequate number of candidates are not registered for the exam center then candidates will be asked to take the exam at the nearest center
  • NMIMS reserves all the rights to cancel any venue for any reason and in such case the applicant is supposed to take the test at another NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Center
  •  No candidate is allowed to enter at any exam center without his/her NMIMS NPAT 2025 Admit Card
  • The examination room/hall will be opened 60 minutes before the commencement of NMIMS NPAT 2025.
  • One has to report on time, as authorities will not be responsible for any kind of delay
  • Reporting time for the test is 8:45 AM
  • No candidate is allowed to enter in the examination center after the commencement of the test
  • Candidate is supposed to take his/her allocated seat only in the allocated room.
  • In case, any candidate tries to change his/her allocated room or seat, the candidature will be cancelled
  • One must show his/her NMIMS NPAT 2025 Admit Card whenever asked
  • NMIMS NPAT 2025 exam would be video graphed
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the room/hall without handing over their sheets to the Invigilator on duty
  • No re-test will be held for any candidate under any circumstance
  • Smoking, chewing, spitting, etc. in the NMIMS NPAT 2025 exam center is strictly prohibited

Do's in NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Center

  • Candidate must take the NMIMS NPAT 2025 Admit Card along with him/her to the exam center
  • Candidate must carry any one of the requisite original ID proof along with its photocopy while appearing for NMIMS NPAT 2025
  • The cardboard must be clean and there should not be anything written on it
  • A candidate must use blue/ black ballpoint pen. Pencils are not allowed
  • Candidate has to carry his/her own blue/ black ballpoint pen at the exam center
  • The candidate has to sign the proforma in the presence of the invigilator
  • Candidate is permitted to take away only the Test Booklet with them after the exam
  • Answer sheet must be handed over to the invigilator after the examination    

NPAT Don'ts

Don'ts in NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Center

  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any kind of Instrument/ Geometry/ Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Bits of Paper/ Stationery, Eatables, Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, Camera, Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets, etc.
  • No candidate is allowed to talk or make any kind of noise in the exam center
  • No candidate is permitted to enter the Examination Center after the commencement of the examination
