VITMEE 2024 Exam Dates

VITMEE 2024 will be conducted on May 05, 2024. The exam is for students seeking admission into MTech or MCA programs.

VITMEE 2024 Course-wise Eligibility

Automotive Engineering

• Candidates should have a B.E or B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Materials, or Aerospace engineering, or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing

• Candidates should have a B.E or B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering, or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Energy and Environmental Engineering

• Candidates must have a B.E or B.Tech degree in any branch of engineering with 60% marks.
• Candidates should have studied M.Sc in Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Physics, Material Science, or Biochemistry from a recognised university.
• Preference is given to GATE or NET qualified students.

Mechatronics

• Candidates should have a B.E or B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Manufacturing, Production, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Computer Science, or Mechatronics, or an equivalent degree from a reputed university.

Manufacturing Engineering

• Candidates should have a B.E or B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, or Automobile Engineering, or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Structural Engineering

• Candidates should have a B.E or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering, or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.

Information Technology

• Candidates should have a B.E or B.Tech degree in any branch, or an M.S or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or MCA, or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.

Computer and Communication Engineering

• Candidates must have a B.E, B.Tech, M.S, or M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or MCA.
• A valid GATE score in Computer Science is required.

Placement and Academic Requirements

Industries offering placement at VIT have stipulated a minimum of 60% marks for students in their undergraduate programs and in class X and XII.

Admission Fee and Documents

After admission, an advance payment of INR 1 lakh must be made. The following documents must be submitted before the deadline of August 15, 2024:

Power Electronics and Drives

• Candidates must have completed a B.E/B.Tech degree in EEE, ECE, or E&I, or any equivalent degree from a recognised university.
• Candidates must obtain at least 55% marks in the degree examination or an equivalent CGPA.

Computer Science and Engineering

Candidates must have studied a B.E/B.Tech degree in any branch, or an M.S/M.Sc in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering, or an MCA degree, with a valid GATE score.

CSE in Cloud Computing with Specialisation in Big Data Analytics

Candidates must possess a graduation degree in MCA or any equivalent degree from a recognised university.

Biotechnology

• Candidates must have studied a B.E/B.Tech degree in Chemical, Leather Technology, Industrial Biotechnology, Bio-Medical, or Bio-Informatics, or a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Candidates must possess an M.Sc degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics, Biology, Zoology, or Genetics, or an MBBS, M.V.Sc, or M.Sc Agriculture from a reputed university.

Biomedical Engineering

Embedded Systems
