ICFAI University was established by the Sikkim State Government on January 27, 2005 in Gangtok. The university offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the departments of Management Studies, Science & Technology and Law. ICFAI University, Sikkim has been approved by UGC whereas all the law courses are approved by Bar Council of India (BCI). It also runs various Distance Education Council approved correspondence courses. 

• Candidates can submit applications for admissions online as well as offline.
• For UG courses, candidates must have appeared for Higher Secondary Examinations.
• For MBA, candidates must hold graduation degree in any stream.
• For all the UG and PG courses, except five-year integrated courses under school of law will be based on candidate’s academic performance and Personal Interview.
• For integrated law courses, admissions will be made on the basis of candidate’s score in Institute/ National level law entrance tests- ICFAI Law School Admissions Test (ILSAT), CLAT or LSAT.
• Under each course, 25% of the total seats will be reserved for the candidates belonging to Sikkim.
