The key objective of the course is to develop an appreciation of what a business is and the role of management in planning, decision making, organizing, directing, communicating and co-ordinating.

To cultivate the abilities needed for the practical application of accounting principles and methods acquired in the classroom, to supply the business with knowledgeable and skilled workers in the fields of Finance, Taxes, Cost, Accounting, and Management Accounting, to improve the commerce students' employment skills, to increase the pupils' capacity and strengthen their ability to make decisions, to improve the students' capacity for both personal and professional decision-making, to promote entrepreneurialism among students obtaining degrees in commerce, to encourage students to enroll in professional programs such as company secretary, cost and management accounting, chartered accounting, etc., to guarantee the comprehensive growth of Commerce pupils.

Students who successfully complete their B.com degree program will possess the necessary information, abilities, and attitudes. With the right preparation, one can work as a manager, accountant, cost accountant, bank manager, auditor, business secretary, teacher, professor, stock agent, government official, and so on. Student achievement will be evaluated using a variety of professional tests, such as the UPSC, CMA, C.A., and C.S., in addition to other factors. Through frequent business activities, students will gain skills and knowledge in a range of communication, decision-making, innovation, and problem-solving areas. Students may also pick up the practical abilities needed to work as auditors or accountants. Additionally, students can acquire the practical skills necessary to work as computer operators, tax consultants, assistants, auditors, and accountants. To prepare for their future jobs in business, students will acquire advanced accounting professional skills that apply to both quantitative and qualitative knowledge. Pupils will have the opportunity to pursue advanced coursework and conduct research in the fields of finance and commerce.

Demonstrate the use of cross functional approaches to solving organizational problems. Build a foundation for constructive assessment and exercise of leadership, decision-making, team management and communication skills.

To understand the functions of business administration. To acquire and practice leadership, negotiation skills and utilize qualitative and quantitative methods to investigate and solve critical business problems. To evaluate and integrate ethical considerations when making business decisions.
