<p>IIT Patna offers scholarships and fee concessions to eligible students. The details are given below.</p>

<p><strong>Fee Waiver for B.Tech Students</strong></p>
<p>B.Tech students can get a fee waiver. The waiver is based on family income.</p>
<ul>
<li>Students with a family income of up to INR 5 Lakhs per annum get a full tuition fee waiver.</li>
<li>Students with a family income between INR 5 Lakhs and INR 10 Lakhs per annum get a 2/3rd tuition fee waiver.</li>
</ul>
<p>These waivers are provided by the institute. You do not need to apply separately. The waiver is given automatically based on the income certificate submitted at the time of admission.</p>

<p><strong>Other Scholarships</strong></p>
<p>Students can also apply for scholarships offered by the Ministry of Education and other government agencies. These include:</p>

<li>Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students</li>
<li>National Scholarship Portal (NSP) scholarships</li>
<li>State government scholarships</li>
</ul>
<p>You must apply for these scholarships on the respective portals. The institute provides guidance and support for the application process.</p>

<p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p>
<p>For the institute's fee waiver, no separate application is needed. It is processed during admission. For other scholarships, you must apply online on the National Scholarship Portal or the relevant state portal. Keep your bank account details and Aadhaar number ready for the application.</p>
