Himalayan College of Education was established as a way and means to combat the problem of ignorance, darkness, chaos and confusion that prevailed in the decade of 80s. In answer to these issues, the college was set up to bring light in the lives of the people residing in this region. The College firmly believes that education alone can bring lightness after removing the darkness and the sense of hopelessness in the lives of the people.
