Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

  • You must be an Indian national to apply for AME CET 2026. International candidates cannot apply in the current admission cycle.
  • Your age must be between 14 and 28 years at the time of admission. There is no officially notified age relaxation for reserved categories.
  • For the AME Licence Course (DGCA / EASA approved), you need a Class 10 pass or Class 12 pass with 45% aggregate.
  • For a Diploma in AME / Aeronautical / Aerospace, you need a Class 10 pass with 45% aggregate.
  • For B.Sc in Aviation / Aeronautics, you need Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and 45% aggregate.
  • For B.Tech Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering, you need Class 12 with PCM or a 3-year Engineering Diploma, with 45% aggregate. For BBA in Aviation Management, you need Class 12 in any stream with 45% aggregate.
