The AME CET 2026 syllabus is based on your educational background. There are three separate syllabus patterns, one for each category of candidate.

  • Class 12 PCM students: The syllabus covers Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT curriculum, plus English and General Awareness.
  • B.Tech / 3-year Diploma holders: The syllabus focuses on a Technical Aptitude section instead of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Class 10 / Non-PCM Class 12 students: The syllabus covers General Awareness, English, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.

For PCM students, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics together carry 240 out of 360 marks. General Awareness and English make up the remaining 120 marks and should not be neglected since they are comparatively easier to score in.
