CUET UG May 25 Shift 1 Analysis

The overall difficulty level of the CUET UG May 25 shift 1 exam was easy to moderate. The difficulty varied across subjects.

Mathematics and Physics were the most challenging papers due to lengthy and calculation-intensive questions.
English, Chemistry, and GAT were comparatively easier and more scoring for well-prepared students.

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

NTA is conducting CUET UG in CBT mode only. The exam will be conducted across 35 shifts over the 21-day examination window.

There will be 50 questions for each test paper to be attempted in 60 minutes.
All questions are compulsory.
Every correct answer will be awarded 5 marks.
A wrong answer will deduct 1 mark.

CUET UG May 21 Shift 1 Paper Analysis

The first shift of the CUET UG exam on May 21 tested six subjects. The difficulty varied from easy to difficult across the different papers.

The Mathematics paper was not lengthy, but the Matrices section had tricky questions. Differentiation questions were lengthy, while Integration was easy.

Many multiple-statement correct questions were asked in Mathematics, which could be solved using elimination. The average number of attempts in Mathematics was around 40.

In History, many timeline, matching, and passage-based questions were asked. The English vocabulary and grammar questions were manageable.
