Goa Common Entrance Test Application Process
GCET 2025 Status
GCET 2025 has been replaced by JEE Main. Admissions to Pharmacy and Medical courses through GCET will now be based on JEE Main and NEET scores, respectively.
For admission process details, candidates can visit the GCET official website and the JEE Main official website.
JEE Main and NEET 2025 Dates
JEE Main January session 1 was conducted from January 22 to January 30. Session 2 was conducted from April 1 to 8.
NEET 2025 will be held on May 4, 2025.
How to Apply for GCET 2025?
The GCET application form is submitted only in offline mode. Candidates must verify that they fulfill the GCET 2025 eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
The step-by-step procedure to fill and submit the GCET application form 2025 is below:
- Download the GCET 2025 Application Form (Form A) from the application link and take a printout on good quality A4 size paper.
- Enter all required particulars like personal details and details related to the category of the candidate.
- Affix 1 recent color photograph on the application form. The photograph should not be taken more than 3 months prior to the date of admission.
- Enclose two additional photographs with the GCET application form.
- Enter the complete postal address, including the postal code.
- Enter the telephone/contact number. The telephone number must be entered with the area code in brackets.
- Check the Subject-Codes and encircle them.
- Mention the center code and name; choose the GCET center 2025.
- Enter details related to DD like DD number, Bank Name, and the date on which it was issued.
- Candidates and their parents must sign at the designated place in the form.
GCET 2025 Application Fee
- The application fee is INR 2000/- for all category candidates.
- Candidates submitted the application fee via credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Documents Required to Fill GCET Application Form 2025
- 3 passport size photographs. The photographs should not be taken more than 3 months before filling the application form.

NOTE: Candidates submitted the application form of GCET 2025 in person. They also collected the GCET 2025 admit card in person.
GCET 2025 Application Form Correction
Candidates will be given the opportunity to make corrections to their application forms. The authority will announce the dates of GCET 2025 form correction.
Within that time period, candidates can make corrections in some details like name, category, address, etc. Candidates can also contact the GCET authority in case of any discrepancy.

GCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling the application form, candidates are required to fulfill the GCET 2025 eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam conducting authorities.
Nationality
The candidate should be an Indian national. Candidates who do not have a domicile or a citizenship certificate are not eligible to apply for GCET 2025.
Age Requirements
There is no age limit for candidates applying for any engineering program.
Domicile Requirements
Candidates must have resided for a minimum period of 10 years. Candidates applying for concession in this must submit proof as specified.
Examination Board
An applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board, or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other examination which in scope and standard is deemed to be equivalent to the H.S.S.C. examination of Goa Board.
GCET 2025 Qualifying Marks
Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class XII) Examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination. English, Physics, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects.
Candidates must also have studied one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, or Biology. A minimum of 45% is required in the aggregate of Physics, Mathematics, and the chosen subject.
- SC, ST, and OBC category applicants must secure 40%.

The GCET 2025 application fee can be paid through online mode or Challan. Candidates must download the challan and select a bank from the list of specified banks to make the payment.

No, Mathematics is necessary to apply for the examination. Candidates with science but without Mathematics are not eligible.

Yes, 12th appearing candidates are eligible for the examination. Candidates appearing in class 12 in the year 2025 can apply.
Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) Overview
