Joint Entrance Exam Main be-btech-pattern
JEE Main Exam Pattern 2026 for BE/B. Tech is yet to be released by NTA. However, as per the last year JEE Main Exam Pattern for BE/BTech, JEE Main BE/BTech will comprise 3 sections including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- 25 questions will be asked from each section of JEE Main 2026 question paper.
- In each section, 20 questions will be MCQs, and 5 will be Numerical value-based questions.
- Students will be allowed to solve the JEE Main BE/BTech paper in 3 hours as per the JEE Main exam pattern.
- 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted from the total score for each incorrect answer.
- Total marks that aspirants can score in JEE Main 2025 are 300, with 100 marks in each section.
JEE Main exam pattern has been revised in 2025 for section B of each JEE Main BE/BTech subject, reducing the number of Numerical value-based questions from 10 to 5 in each section. All 5 Numerical Value-Based questions are compulsory in the JEE Main BE/B.Tech paper.
