What is NEET MDS 2026 Registration?
NEET MDS registration is a mandatory step for admission into the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program in government or private dental colleges in India. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for NEET MDS 2026 can register for the exam online.
According to NBEMS data, nearly 30,000-32,000 students register for the NEET MDS exam every year. Last year, the total number of students who registered for NEET MDS 2025 was 30,435.

NEET MDS 2026 Application Fee
The application fee for NEET MDS 2026 varies by category. General, OBC, and EWS candidates must pay Rs 3500.

Last year, the application form was released on 18th February, 2025. If NBEMS follows the same timeline, the NEET MDS 2026 registration will begin anytime soon.

The application deadline is short, around 20-25 days from the start of registration. The NBEMS announced the cutoff date for completion of the internship as 31st May, 2026.
Correction Window for NEET MDS 2026
Upon completion of the registration process, NBEMS will open the correction window for 2-4 days. Last year, the NEET MDS 2025 correction window was opened from 3rd April to 6th April, 2025.
Candidates must note that not all details filled in the application form will be editable. Once the final submission is done, corrections can only be made in a few sections.

How to Register for NEET MDS 2026
The NEET MDS 2026 application form will be available at natboard.edu.in. Registration involves creating an account, filling in personal details, uploading documents, and paying the fee.
Stage 1: Visit the Official Website
Candidates must visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in to register. The application form has not been released yet and is expected in February 2026.

- Click on the 'Application Link' search icon.
- Click 'Register' on the top-right side if you are a new user.
- Click 'Login' if you have already registered for NEET MDS 2026.
Stage 2: Filling the Application Form
The application form is filled in three steps: personal details, educational qualifications, document upload, and test center selection. Click "Save and Next" before moving to the next section.
(i) Filling of Personal Details
The personal details section includes the following:
- Candidate's Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Nationality, Local and Permanent Address, Father's Name, and Mother's Name
- Category status: The category certificate is valid only for one financial year (April 1 to March 31).
- Identification Details: Valid identity proof such as Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, or AADHAR Card.
(ii) Filling of Qualification Details
The qualification details focus on the BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree:
- Country and year of completion of the BDS degree
- State
- Name of college
- Internship details including start and end dates
- Dental council registration details
- Marks or grade obtained in the BDS course
(iii) Selection of Test Centers and Document Uploading
Candidates must select test centers from the list in the application form. NBEMS will allot test cities and centers based on availability. A passport-sized photograph and a signature with specific dimensions must be uploaded. Capturing a live or real-time photo is also mandatory.
Stage 3: Payment of Application Fee
The application fee varies for General, OBC, PwD, and reserved categories. Payment can be made through UPI, net banking, debit card, or credit card. The exact fee will be mentioned in the NEET MDS 2026 information brochure. Based on past trends, the fee is expected to be between INR 3500 and INR 4000.
NEET MDS 2026 Photo and Signature Requirements

NEET MDS 2026 Correction Window
The NEET MDS 2026 correction window allows candidates to edit specific details in their application form. This facility is available for a limited period after the submission of the form.

The final edit window is expected to open approximately 15 days after the closing of the application form. It will remain open for about 5-6 days. If images are not uploaded according to the guidelines, the application may be rejected.
