Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology Syllabus 2026

The OUAT 2026 syllabus is based on the Class 11 and Class 12 science curriculum of the Odisha CHSE and NCERT. NCERT textbooks cover the entire syllabus.

• Physics: Class 11 topics include Laws of Motion, Work-Energy-Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Properties of Solids and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Oscillations and Waves. Class 12 topics include Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current, Electromagnetic Induction, Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Ray Optics, Wave Optics, Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter, Atoms and Nuclei, Electronic Devices, and Communication Systems.
• Chemistry: Physical Chemistry covers States of Matter, Thermodynamics, Chemical Equilibrium, Ionic Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, and Solutions. Inorganic Chemistry covers Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Classification of Elements and Periodicity, s-Block, p-Block, d-Block and f-Block Elements, and Coordination Compounds. Organic Chemistry covers Basic Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alcohols and Phenols, Aldehydes and Ketones, Carboxylic Acids, Amines, Biomolecules, Polymers, and Chemistry in Everyday Life.
• Biology: Class 11 covers Diversity of Living Organisms and other standard topics from the CHSE curriculum. Class 12 covers topics from the same prescribed curriculum.
• Mathematics: The syllabus follows the Class 11 and Class 12 CHSE and NCERT curriculum for the Mathematics optional section.
