YVUCET 2026 Exam Overview
YVUCET stands for Yogi Vemana University Common Entrance Test. It is conducted by Yogi Vemana University (YVU), Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The exam is held every year for admission to postgraduate programs at the university.

Eligibility Criteria
You must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. SC/ST/OBC candidates need 45% aggregate marks. Final year graduates can also apply. There is no upper age limit.
The subject of your UG degree must match the PG course you are applying for through YVUCET 2026.
Exam Pattern
YVUCET 2026 has 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 100 marks. The exam duration is 90 minutes. There is no negative marking.

YVUCET MCQs test conceptual understanding as much as factual recall. Questions may apply concepts to new situations or ask you to choose between closely related options. A strong conceptual grasp, especially for Section C, is more valuable than simply memorising facts.
Application Fee
The YVUCET 2026 application fee is ₹500 for regular applications within the regular deadline. Candidates who applied with a late fee paid ₹1,000. The fee is non-refundable and was paid online through the official portal yvudoa.in. The application window for 2026 has now closed.
Qualifying Cutoff
General category candidates must score at least 25 marks (25%) out of 100 to qualify for YVUCET 2026 counselling. There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates. They only need to appear for the exam.
Scoring just 25 marks may not be enough for popular courses. Higher marks give you a much better chance of getting your preferred program.
