<h2 id="4">DRC Application Process&nbsp;</h2>

<p><b>Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination</b></p>

<p>Daulat Ram College admissions to all UG &amp; PG courses are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations, linked below.</p>

<p>Candidates applying for CUET must select Delhi University while filling out the application form. Additionally, they must choose subjects for which they have appeared or qualified in the last qualifying exam.</p>

<p><b>Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Exam</b></p>

<p>Candidates who filled out the application form must appear for the entrance examination as per the schedule.</p>

<p><b>Step 3: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences</b></p>

<p>Candidates who have qualified for the entrance examinations register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the DRC DU seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill in their college and course preferences.</p>

<p><b>Step 4: Seat Allocation</b></p>

<p>The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. Delhi University is going to release the merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). The Common Merit List (CML) is open to all candidates. However, for the Category 2 Merit List (C2ML), only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs.</p>

<p><b>Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission</b></p>

<li>Upon declaration of the merit list, candidates can check the list by logging in to their CSAS dashboard for acceptance of the allocated seat, if offered.</li>
<li>Once a seat has been allocated to DRC DU in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the allocated seat before the last date/time in a given time period.</li>
<li>Once the candidate accepts the provisionally allocated seat, the college administration will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate. Upon approval of the seat allotment by the college, candidates will have to pay the DRC DU admission fee to confirm their seat.</li>

<p><b>Ans</b>. DRC offers Diploma Part-Time courses in 7 International Languages like Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Korean. These courses are on-campus courses with total Fees of INR 18,360. These courses are for one year and they are part-time courses. These courses are at the UG Diploma level. The Registration Fees for these courses are INR 50. Candidates need to pass their 10+2 from a recognised board to get admission into these courses.</p>

This cell aims to look into complaints lodged by any student and solve it on the basis of prevailing rules and regulations. The Main objective is to maintain a fair, unbiased, and consistent system for redressal of various issues faced by the students. It also works to keep it strictly confidential so that students can approach the Grievance Redressal Cell without any fear. To maintain a friendly environment and cordial relationship between the students and faculty without giving any chance to widen the gap between them that may arise because of certain simple misunderstandings is also one of the important targets of this cell.</p>

<p><b>Ans. </b>The National Cadets Corps at Daulat Ram College (DRC) offers stimulating and disciplined adventure to its cadets. Every year, the cadets actively participate in various national camps and competitions, such as Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC), Advanced Learning Camp (ALC), Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) and Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat (EBSB), to name a few. Cadets of DRC have been securing gold medals in CATC from past many years. Our cadets also get the opportunity to participate in trekking camps such as Kanchan Surya Darjelling Baghan Sikkim Trek and Ajmer Trek. In the past one year, during the pandemic, DRC cadets actively participated in NCC yogdaan by distributing masks and food to migrant workers, running a COVID helpline for procuring trustworthy contacts for oxygen cylinders in times of crisis and volunteering in the COVID vaccination drive of the government. The cadets, at the same time, also participated in online webinars and conferences related to defence and SSB preparation.</p>
