Knowledge resources are the key for the growth of any educational institution. FIMS Central Library, with its commitment to learning, provides the students with a fully equipped library consisting of books and journals on a variety of topics.

The College has continued to add to its collection, which now stands more than 12078 books, 116 Print Journals, 1438 back runs of Journals, 2343 Medical E-Journals, 409 CDs and DVDs. The library has back volume of journals collection starting from the year 2008.

Besides books and journals, faculty and students of the college have access to a number of information resources that are very useful in teaching and research. Free Internet facility is provided in the library for college students and faculty. Access to E-Journals is made available through Membership to Dr. YSR Universty of Health Sciences, Vijayawada which enables free access to 2343+ e-Journals along with back issues. The Library is being automated using latest version of Koha - an open source integrated library management software. Barcode Technology will shortly be introduced to further automate the circulation system.

Central Library is housed on second floor with space of 1600 Sq.m. The library is having internet facility with static IP address with 100 mbps speed for the use of faculty, post graduate and under graduate students. It has Scanning and Photocopying facilities for library users. The Library is kept open for almost all days in a year except Jan 26th and Aug 15th and functions 16 hours a day i.e. 9 A.M.to 8 P.M. During festivals, holidays and Sundays, it works from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.

FIMS Central library is an open access library that gives users direct access to all the resources of the library. Library plays an important role to cater to the dynamic needs of the faculty and students and supports the Institution to realize its academic goals.

Along with the Central Library there are 20 Departmental Libraries housed in concerned departments.
