Himalayan Institute of Computer Science is a self-financing institute established and promoted by Maa Saraswati Educational Trust. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi, and Himachal Pradesh Government and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. It offers Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) programme.
