<h2>IIMK Merit Scholarship</h2>
<p>The IIMK Merit Scholarship is awarded to first and second year students of Post Graduate Programmes (PGP, PGPLSM and PGPFIN). It is based on their performance during one academic year, as determined by their CGPA.</p>
<p>The number of scholarships awarded is in the ratio of one scholarship for every 20 students in the first and second year.</p>

<h2>IIMK Need Based Financial Assistance (NBFA)</h2>
<p>The IIMK Need Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) is offered by the Institute. Students must meet all the eligibility criteria to apply.</p>
<p>Students who receive more than one scholarship, stipend, grant, or assistance must refund all except the one they choose.</p>

<h3>Selection Process</h3>
<p>Based on the financial score obtained during evaluation, a final rank list is prepared by the Financial Aid Committee (FAC). In case of a tie in financial score, the rank is finalised based on gross annual income, with the student having the lowest gross annual income preferred.</p>
<p>The quantum of financial assistance is finalised by the FAC.</p>

<h2>Central Sector Scholarship Schemes</h2>
<p>These scholarships are offered by the Government of India for students from specific categories.</p>

<h3>a. Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students</h3>
<p>This scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Social Justice &amp; Empowerment, Government of India, to students belonging to the SC category. It is based on annual parental income from all sources for the previous financial year.</p>
<ul>
<li>Maximum income limit: Rs. 8,00,000/-</li>
<li>Maximum number of scholarships allotted to IIM Kozhikode: 10 (as on date)</li>
</ul>

<h3>b. National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students</h3>
<p>This scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, to students belonging to the ST category. It is based on annual parental income from all sources for the previous financial year.</p>
<ul>
<li>Maximum income limit: Rs. 6,00,000/-</li>
<li>There is no Institute wise, state wise, or stream wise ceiling on the number of slots.</li>
</ul>

<h3>c. Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS</h3>
<p>This is another scholarship scheme available under the central sector offerings.</p>
