<p>IIEST Shibpur offers scholarships based on merit and financial need. The main schemes are listed below.</p>

<li><strong>Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (MCM):</strong> For B.Tech or B.Arch students with a good academic record and a family income of up to INR 4.5 Lakh per year. It includes a tuition fee waiver and INR 1,000–5,000 per month.</li>
<li><strong>Institute Free Studentship:</strong> For students with a family income of up to INR 1 Lakh per year. It provides a full tuition fee waiver.</li>
<li><strong>AICTE Pragati Scholarship:</strong> For girls in technical programs with a family income of up to INR 8 Lakh per year. It provides INR 30,000 per year.</li>
<li><strong>AICTE Saksham Scholarship:</strong> For differently-abled students in technical programs with a family income of up to INR 8 Lakh per year. It provides INR 30,000 per year.</li>
<li><strong>State Government Scholarships:</strong> For eligible state students in professional programs. Benefits vary by scheme and may include a tuition fee waiver, stipend, or both.</li>
<li><strong>Central Sector Scholarship:</strong> For students from SC/ST, OBC, and other reserved categories. It includes a tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend as per the scheme.</li>
<li><strong>Research / PG Scholarships:</strong> For M.Tech, M.Sc., and Ph.D. students. The stipend ranges from INR 12,400 to INR 31,000 per month, depending on the program.</li>

<p>M.Tech students admitted through GATE are eligible for a monthly stipend as per AICTE norms. Eligible M.Sc. students may receive scholarships through JAM-based funding schemes, subject to government rules.</p>
